Apparently the best thing is to go there during the cherry blossom season, but even outside of this period this lake is pleasant.
Many people walk or run around it.

We were lucky enough to see half of the cherry blossoms in bloom. If we were there a week later, 2nd week of April they would have been in full bloom. It was very grounded though but can't complain since it was such a nice and sunny day. We saw a lot of locals walking and just enjoying the blossoms. There are the few coffee shops and restaurants overlooking the lake. After the walk, we went into the Lotte World mall and walk around. Many expensive shops if that's your thing. Also a food court with lots of choices, western and Korean. Also a supermarket where we bought some fruits. Word of warning, Seoul at least the tourist areas do not have a wide selection of fruits and they are expensive.

One of the highly-recommended cherry blossom viewing spots in Seoul, and it is not difficult to see why! The entire circumference of the lake (or lakes? Since there are two sections) are just lined with cherry blossom trees, that when in blooms, are simply a magnificent sight to behold! The closest station to the lake via subway would be Jamsil Station (serviced by Lines 2 and 8), and the closest exits would be Exits 2, 2-1, or 3. I visited the area on 4 APR, and the cherry blossoms have already started to bloom. It looks to be nearing or already in full bloom? I can’t really tell. The area was quite windy too, so petals have already begun dusting the lake, so head over quick in order to catch this ephemeral beauty! Be warned that this place is very popular amongst locals and tourists, so it will be very crowded. The area is flat and very easy to walk, so it is also suitable for individuals with mobility issues. Plenty of benches surrounding the lake too, but they tend to be snapped up pretty quickly.

I think this park is super pretty during cherry blossom or fall. Unfortunately nothing was blooming when we were there. Nevertheless, we saw Lotte World and a large sports facility with a surprisingly large number of pensioners, great!

在樂天世界Mall出站即被賞櫻人潮包圍，雖然櫻花季節比肩繼踵，大家仍井然有序拍照、遊湖，沒有特別不舒適。沿湖散步一小時，眼裡滿是櫻花，櫻花吹雪，享受席地野餐或與情人約會，都是時常映入眼簾的畫面。賞櫻必至名所，春天氣息洋溢。

sonkchong lake its amazing lake. i had nice walk in this lake. really it was amazing place. its was foumas place. all peaple in park they are so nice. it very safe place. i recommend it to everyone. really. go to visit sonkchong lake. wow wow.

This was lovely. So pretty on a late afternoon, early evening in June. Take a walk, so nice. Circuit is easy to follow. Very relaxing. Clean. There are a few eateries and places you can buy drinks around the lake. I loved the music.

2018年？に完成したロッテワールドの真下にあるソクチョン湖。
湖ではあるが肉眼で全然見渡せる範囲内の小さい湖です。
それでも一周るとなると歩いて20～30分はかかると思うので散歩が気持ち季節にはとてもおすすめです。
サクラの時期や紅葉の時期にもとてもいいです。
また、ロッテワールドの屋外アトラクションに並んでいるときは、この湖が隣に見えるので韓国客にも有名たと思います。

人口湖のようですが、湖のほとりにはロッテ遊園地の施設があって周辺を散歩するにも楽しいところです。四季折々の木々や花も楽しめます。歩行通路もきちんと整備されていてウォーキングの人が沢山いますが、それほど混んではいません。ロッテワールドタワーがきれいに撮影できるスポットです。
