The park is not too well known as it is not in every guidebook. However, this park is very nice for relaxing running. There are several cafés and convenience stores on the edge of the park.

While working at a company, I often went for a walk during quiet times. It's great for walking, and there are many delicious restaurants nearby. However, there are quite a lot of people during lunch time.

It's like a smaller version of Central Park in NYC. It used to be an airfield before it was converted to a park with lots of trees and even some animals. Nice place to walk around for nearby office workers.Enjoying the lovely park in the springtime. Watching cherryblossoms and spring food festival, I got water coloring for me too. The park is so huge and we can enjoy everything like cycling, strolling, playing kite, having picnic with friends and family. Will be back for sure!

A very beautiful park. I was lucky to get there during the cherry blossom season, which was very beautiful. The park itself is neat and tidy, the paths are good and comfortable.

This is the small central park at the island of Yeouido. Amid imposing, ultramodern skyscrapers, it is a tranquil urban oasis with a small Korean pavilion. Even without the cherry blossoms, Yeouido Park is a lovely place to explore.

We were very lucky in the first week of April to be there for the cherry blossom season in Seoul. It wasn't planned ahead of time. In the last week of March everything was brown and bare but by the time we returned from Busan (and their cherry blossom season) Seoul was in full bloom. We were able to enjoy the Yeouido Spring Flower Festival in Yeouido Park in the early night with all the trees lit up. Access is free and you can walk along the roads that have been closed to traffic. We started near the National Assembly Building before entering the park. There are some views of the Hangang River along the way. I think it would be also nice to visit in the daytime when the colours would be more natural. There are also some displays of tulips, azaleas and other spring flowers.

The only reason we headed to this park was to see the cherry blossom trees, as we read it's one of the best spots in Seoul for that.
However, this year we were obviously late for that in the second half of April.
Without the cherry blossom trees it is still a nice, but very average park without a need to go out of your way.

櫻花季節週末人潮湧現，人們席地而坐野餐或搭帳篷在櫻花樹下度過美好的午後。櫻花的密度頗高,故櫻花步道上也是滿溢拍照的人潮。漢江邊有騎著自行車的愜意人們，陰涼處也都是野餐的人們。在櫻花盛開的季節裡，汝夷島公園是個可逛櫻花逛好光滿的好所在！來首爾不可錯過！

Hello,
January may be cold for that park. It is possible to rent bike within the park. It is possible just to have walk. Within park, there is not a closed warm place like a cafe to enter and have something. There are such places around entrance, and very few.
Around 15-20 min by walk, there is a huge shopping center.

Hi, may i know what are the chances of seeing the blossoms during early to mid march at Yeouido? I will be heading to seoul in early part of march and thought of dropping by the park. However am afraid that it will be a waste of time if there is not much sights. Appreciate any kind replies or advice. Thanks!

Unfortunately early March may be too early and the blossoms won't be out yet. In order to enjoy the blossoms, you should be there mid to late April.

Yes cherry blossoms should still be out. Our daughter said the trees she can see from her apartment are beautiful this week.

There is a strong chance you will see cherry blossom on those dates. The Park will be busy on weekends so better to go during the week and preferably early mornings before 10.00am

Hmmm that's slightly early.... you might see a few starting to bloom but don't count on a picturesque scene.
