우이광장에서 둘레길 걷다가 산행로가 계곡길을 따라 잘 나있어서 걷다보니 오랜만에 도선사까지 다녀왔네요. 실내 기도공간보다 야외 기도공간이 멋지고 괜찮습니다. 아주 추운날씨 아니면 들려보세요. 내려오실 때는 절에서 운영하는 셔틀타고 내려오시면 편합니다.

This place is a pleasant find after we came
down from Baegundae peak. There is a mediation area in front of the stone Buddha craving. Do note that there is a free hourly shuttle bus for the temple visitors. Unsure if it’s available for hikers but the 20-30min return walk to the city is on a downslope, so it’s still bearable if you have sore legs after the hike. Nothing much over there other than peace and tranquility.

Хотели попасть на прогулочную тропу, а вышли на него. Красивое место. Можно пешком, но лучше на транспорте.

We accidently stumbled upon this temple when hiking down from Baegudae peak in the Bukhansan park. It's a fairly big temple with beautiful decorations. It's a long way from the city center but accessible with public transport and a 40min walk or shuttle bus.

Trying to get information on how to get there was an adventure in itself.
So -- i thought i'd share with you.
Before that, why would you choose this?
It would be a gorgeous trip if in fall or early spring when the leaves turn. The sky was hazy in early summer -- but the sojourn is still worth it. There are steps to get to the temple complex itself..so if you have a bung knee, be wary. Bring water and a hat.
Ok directions.
(a) The fastest way. Difficulty level is 4 out of 5.
If you are in Seoul itself, take the Subway Line No. 4 from Seoul Station or City Hall Station. Alight at Suyu Station. Exit and get into Bus 120. Ask the bus driver where to get off for Doseonsa. It is the last stop. They make pre-recorded English announcements on the bus anyway. Tip: you should be heading towards the hills as a general direction.
At foot of Doseonsa, get out of the Blue Bus, cross the street where you can see Red Bus (see attached photo). This is the complimentary bus up to the peak. You can walk. It is approx 2.5 km uphill. But why walk when there is more walking one you get there?
This trip will take you door to door 35 mins.
Your difficulty here is locating the proper bus stop for Bus No 120.
(b) The easiest but slower way. Difficulty level is 1 out of 5.
If you are in Seoul itself, take the Subway Line No. 4 from Seoul Station or City Hall Station. Alight at Sungshin Womens Uni Station. Look for bus stop number 8 for bus no, 109. Ask bus driver if he is going to Doseonsa as there are 109s going both ways.
It is the last stop. They make pre-recorded English announcements on the bus anyway. Tip: you should be heading towards the hills as a general direction.
At foot of Doseonsa, get out of the Blue Bus, cross the street where you can see Red Bus (see attached photo). This is the complimentary bus up to the peak. You can walk. It is approx 2.5 km uphill. But why walk when there is more walking one you get there?
This trip will take you door to door 45 mins as it snakes through a couple of suburbs.
Wear flat shoes.
And when finished with your visit, take the red bus down to the main bus depot and cross back to where the blue buses "live" and take the bus back to where you want to go. I took 120 back to Suyu for lunch and coffee. There is plenty to see at Suyu.

韓国の知り合いにお勧めのお寺を伺うと、ここを一番に勧められた。
地下鉄からバスで行くのだが、運転手に行先を伝えていたにもかかわらず、全く違う場所(4.19民主墓地)で降ろされた。登山スタイルのおじさんにトソンサへ行きたいというと、それは全く違う場所だよと大通りへ出るよう言われる。うろたえながらキムパブ屋に入る。店主に聞くと韓国語でわあーっと話すのを必死でメモを取り、バス停へ向かう。すると店の中にいた学生さんが小走りで来てどこに行きたいのか英語で話しかけてくれ「大変なのでタクシーで行こうと思う」と言うと、タクシーではお寺までものすごくお金がかかるからと親切に乗り換えのバスを教えてくれ、やっとトソンサへのバス乗り場まで着いた。すると偶然にもお寺行きのマイクロバスに乗せて頂き、運賃を取られなかったので、4000Wを道端の寄付用のポストのような物に入れた。
※ここからお寺へ続く道と北漢山の山頂まで登山ルートの分岐点となる。
この登山ルートはかなり険しい為、もし、登山をお考えの方はきちんとした登山の装備が必要になります。
分岐点からお寺までなだらかな道を少し歩くが、木々の緑は美しく、かなたにソウルの街並みが見えた。仁王様がいる門をくぐり、お寺へ向かう。
お寺にはピンクの提灯が沢山下がり信仰の厚さを感じる。
日本と違い、韓国では線香ではなく、提灯(灯篭)を捧げるそうだ。
謎だったのは、布袋様の石像があるのだが、皆、布袋様のおへそに両手の親指を入れてぐるぐる回すのだ。一体どういう意味なのだろう??
お昼ご飯に念の為、キムパブを買っていたが、人が沢山集まっている場所があったので、覗いてみると食事をしている。「食事はいくらですか?」と聞くと、いりません、どうぞと信者の方々から親切にしてもらい、山菜のピビンパプと味噌汁を食べた。その間、信者の方々から色々話しかけられたが話を理解できずに残念だった。独学だが、もっと韓国語を勉強しておけばよかった思った。そして、親切なおばあちゃんが、こうしてここで食器を洗うんだよと教えて下さり、水も美味しいから飲みなさいと、名水?を飲んだ。
ここにいる方々は食事を作る方も含め、皆親切だった。
おばあさん達に聞いた話だが、年末の夜から元旦にかけては除夜の鐘がつかれるそうで、餅がふるまわれたりとにぎやかになるそうだ。
寒いけど、来る価値があるような事を言っていた。
それから、下山は自力でしようと、山を下る事にした。
歩きやすいし、緑も美しく、皆トレッキング感覚で降りている。
相方は途中用を足したくなり、トイレもないので、人気のない時に道の脇の水路に降りた所、ズボッと枯葉の中に足が膝程埋もれ、わあっと驚いた。
それだけ腐葉土になる広葉樹が多いという事だろう。
一時間程でバス乗り場に着いた。
豊かな木々の山、美しい水、最低限に舗装された道。
日本もこのような景観や自然を守る事を見習って欲しいと思った。
穏やかな空気が流れる美しいお寺でした。

Here is a temple high up a mountain , temple arranges shuttle bus to take the visitors from the station. Rock carved Buddha has big importance for the Buddhist and there is a peaceful meditation area in front of the Buddha.

북한산 등산로 바로 옆에 있는 사찰로써
걸어가시기에는 굉장히 힘든 곳 입니다.
우이동 정류장에서 버스가 다니고 있으니
버스로 이동하시는 것을 추천 드립니다.
