This is the only cinema in Singapore which shows high quality movies. It ussually screens the best pictures from all the regions of the world and a careful selection of the great international festivals. An oasis in SGP for all cinema lovers. Its cinema theaters are not high tech but the quality of its offer worth paying the price. I attend every weekend to its movies.

Projector is an amazing place for indie films, and general artistic / alternative cultural events (a rarity in Singapore). Follow their Instagram to find out what they have on the calendar... There's a lot more than just films.

Sticky floor, squeaky chairs, malfunctioning air-con. It was a mess through and through. Don't understand the rave of this place except maybe the retro decor which gives a nice vibe. Unless the movie is so interesting and isn't screening anywhere else, I would suggest giving this place a miss.

If you're looking for an interesting movie, you should visit the Projector at Golden Mile Tower. It screens a good mix of both international & local movies. You get to watch a movie without any disturbance from the well mannered patrons. The restaurant offers lovely cakes & they also have live music on weekends. The toilets are artistically designed.

I’ve visited the Projector many times since it opened and can’t understand why everyone is raving over this place. I like that they screen indie, non-mainstream films that you can’t watch anywhere else, there’s very little to recommend. The seats are terribly uncomfortable, air-con is either too cold or warm and mediocre sound system. Add to that you have cinema patrons who bring in food from the snack bar creating an awful stench and munching of pop corn which spoils the experience. What’s the point of telling people to turn off the phones when people can make as much noise eating? Not many bother to pick up their rubbish and throw into the bins so the cinema hall looks like trash.
Much prefer the newly opened Oldham Theatre at National Archives of Singapore where the seats are really comfy and boast a Dolby ATMOS sound system. Tickets are much cheaper too at $10. And I applaud their good sense in not allowing patrons to bring food/beverages into the cinema.

The Projector screens very unique movies. I love their selection and it is free seating, you can even choose to sit on their bean bags while watching. It is a very different experience from commercial cinemas, do try it at least once!

Forget the big commercial mainstream cinemas and come to watch a movie at this quirky movie theatre. Located on the 5th floor of the Golden Mile Tower, exiting the lift is like stepping back in time. There’s a box office to purchase tickets and the “Intermission Bar” that serves a wide variety of bar snacks (nachos, popcorn, sliders, chilli dogs, sandwiches and other hot food etc) and drinks (alcoholic including craft beers, wines and cocktails and non-alcoholic) all at a very reasonable price! We went to watch “Ford vs Ferrari” - which by the way is a very good film. From speaking to the staff there, they choose “selected” commercial films. The auditorium itself has “old fashion” cinema seats (still pretty comfortable) as well as bean-bags where you can lie down and watch the film in comfort!! The staff are extremely friendly and charming and certainly add to the authenticity of the cinema. FYI - Wednesday night is 2 for 1 Prosecco! It’s a one of a kind establishment and an exciting alternative to modern cinema complexes. It’s a jewel which we shall certainly go back to.

The cinema has a good selection of films, ranging from arthouse to selected commercial films. What I love the most about the Projector is the passionate, enthusiastic audience, which becomes apparent when you attend singalong film sessions (e.g. Bohemian Rhapsody) and cult film screenings such as The Room (where people will bring in plastic spoons and throw them towards the screen).
The cinema lobby itself is very cosy and nice hangout place. They sell drinks, snacks and cakes (love their cheesecake!). You can bring beer and alcohol to cinema halls. It's free seating.
At night, the lobby turns into Intermission Bar with live music. After a movie screening, walk towards the toilet area, take the side door and cut through the parking area to reach open-air parking lot bar The Great Escape. With its chilled vibe and colorful furnishings, the spot makes for a relaxing, chilled end to any night.

Love it. the seats are no as comfortable as other big cinemas but the feeling is good. Friendly staff. Good selection of movies. and on top, LGBTQ friendly !!!

Catch independent films at this cinema located on level 5 of Golden Mile Tower. While it's showing wear and tear, the atmosphere at The Projector is wonderful and full of character which is lacking in today's modern cinemas. There's a bar outside the cinema which has some good finger food (sliders, nacho's, popcorn). It reminded me of a bar along Brunswick Street, Victoria. Charming
