A fairly short review here. A beautifully set gift shop on the edge of Stanley’s harbour. The shop itself was full of souvenirs and seems to be open regularly.
The staff were polite and accommodating throughout. Although there was a wide variation on offer, the gifts were very expensive but because of the lack of competition, you do get sucked in to making a few purchases.
I have no dramas with the quality of the stock, but we did take a stroll towards the distillery and found another gift shop later in the day. It was also expensive but the souvenirs were more appealing - handcrafted from locals and certainly more unique.
Overall, I’d probably revisit again to purchase any last minute gifts. I’d more than likely pop in after going to the other premises though.

Lojinha muito bem localizada e com muitas opções de lembrancinhas e de itens um pouco mais úteis. Com certeza vale a visita.

Was there on Sunday. I asked for a purple penguin as displayed in one of the rotating glass cabinets. The girl went to get one from the back room and brought it through in plenty of packing, which I thought was considerate and good for popping in my suitcase. When I came to take it out of my case I was furious to find a bright pink penguin. That's the last colour I would want. If she couldn't find a purple one she should either have said so, or offered me the display one - after all, why display something you don't have in stock? Am not a happy customer and if ever I go back to Stanley, that's one shop I won't go to. Nearby Harbour (superb gifts) and Pod (great prices for basics) gift shops are much better.

Fine wee shop for souvenirs to take back home, there are a few souvenir shops in Stanley and although there are some common items it is worth visiting them all as some items are only available in a specific shop.

Pretty mediocre compared to the Waterfront gift shop.aid they did have few things the other one did'nt

This was certainly the largest gift shop in Stanley and the Falklands during my visit. It was so spacious that it was quite hard for 2 to 3 shop attendants to take care of it during its peak hours with cruiser passengers. I did not buy anything during my last visit since the paintings were the most attractive gifts for me but they were a little expensive too. Anyway, I do like the small pieces featuring penguins better than the butterfly ones and certain paintings were not mass-production items. There were quite a few T shirts with prints and ladies' jewellery items. Fragile decoration and plush toy items (eg king penguins) were also available. While the shop is large, the spectrum of gifts available could be enlarged to minimise the space for display of clothing and painting items in favour of more choices for guests.

This shop had several very artistic pieces. It has more high end products than other shops in town where the inventory was cheap and touristy.

Our first stop in shopping in Stanley, it had everything penguins and more. The best bargains on post cards.
