Nơi đây có thể nói là 1 trong những vùng đất hoang sơ nhất thế giới. Phong cảnh biển tuyệt vời, chim cánh cụt trú ngụ tại đây cũng là dễ hiểu vì nó khá lạnh.

Dear fellow travelers,
Does anyone has experience visiting Gypsy Cove on the Christmas Day?
I wonder if the shuttle ($20 round trip) that I read about from the reviews and Q&A run on the Christmas Day.
If you were at Gypsy Cove, but did not take the shuttle, how did you get there? And how much did you pay?
Also, if you were at Port Stanley on the Christmas Day, was there anything open? Or everything was closed for the holiday?

Best to contact the tour people on the ground on these questions. Our visit was organised by the cruise ship operators. There are many operators in Port Stanley, so best to ask them direct if you are organising your own trip. It is possible to walk to and from Gypsey Cove, it is about a 30 minute walk from the wharf area, one way.

Hi, we're arriving in Port Stanley by cruise ship (getting to shore by tender) in Feb. Where can we find this bus tour to Gipsy Cove for $20 pp that you mentioned? Any other info/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Right at the Visitors Information Centre which is where the tender jetty is. Reps of the tour were standing near their vehicles looking for business when we got off the tender. Pretty easy.

Quisiera conocer las atracciones cerca de Stanley ya que estaremos menos de siete horas. Sé que la ciudad se recorre en un rato, con cerveza y todo. Necesito saber distancias a reservas naturales o lugares de buen paisaje a no más de 80 o 100 de ruta pavimentada.

Muy cerca sólo las playas y colinas de Gypsy. La atracción no incluye más que el transporte. Ida y vuelta libre.

No we did not pre book the shuttle. When you step off the ship, there will be staff members from the shuttle service right there on the pier. You pay them directly. The cost was $20US per person. Children paid the same rate. You can spend as much time at the cove as you like. I think that an hour is reasonable though. There isn’t a ton to see, and she area is small and the path is quite short.

We hope to visit Gypsy Cove in March. Is it easy to explore the place ourselves after getting off from the mini bus . .? Will we see penguins at that time ? Thanks

Sí, es fácil. Lo recorres sin guía. Pingüinos allí verás pocos. Pingüinos de Magallanes. Al costado del sendero hay cuevas de estos animalitos.

We will be arriving in Stanley via a celebrity cruise on Feb. 23 and would like to do some sightseeing on our own-such as to Gypsy Cove. Cindy mentioned catching the bus to there. Where is the bus stop in town and when does it run-how long to get to Gypsy Cove?
