This is a wonderful museum and it's free, at least for cruise ship passengers. There are a lot of great displays here both inside and out.

Wish we had more time to spend here because this is a really captivating museum. Loads or artifacts both inside and out. Much history to be learned here.

We'd heard that the museum was interesting, but hadn't appreciated just how interesting. Only had an hour there, which was nowhere near long enough to take in everything. There were lots of things of interest from the day-to-day lives of local people - not just officials and military leaders. I'd like to go back to the Falklands one day and will definitely go back to the Museum and see the military and Antarctic sections - an hour only gave us time to see the civil section. Exhibits are displayed and described well and clearly.

The History Dockyard Museum is a small museum but with displays on many interesting exhibits relating to the maritime development in this area. It contributes homage to the cultural history of Falklands.

It’s had a pretty jagged history and for £5 you can leave the biting wind and shelter within...it’s interesting enough...it’s not amazing.

A really lovely museum with some great staff. The video of childhood memories of the Argentinean occupation is particularly poignant and moving. Ironic as this isn't the best museum for young children although the staff always make ours feel most welcome.

There is a lot to look at and read here! But one of the most interesting is the musical "machine" called (I think...) a euphonium (or something like that...) It's sort of like a player piano without the piano or music rolls -- very cool and a really neat sound! Be sure to ask one of the docents to play it.

Quite interesting and right next tothe museum - worth a visit! There isn't a lot to do in Stanley and we recommend visiting the museum and Britannia House

You could spend hours in here so much to see we had free entree with or pass from the ship, but as we only had few hours in Stanley did a quick tour round the exhibits which were really fascinating.
