The website has some incorrect information they are working to get updated. The bay fishing is on the Lady Avalon and morning trips are 8:30-11:30 in the summer.
We had Capt Sam, with Mates Jack & Henry. Both mates were very good, but we had more interaction with Jack. He has an ideal personality to be a mate, interacting well with passengers, both kids and adults, while still making sure folks had baited hooks, helping with catches, etc.
The bay fishing had us with lines down in less than 30 min and I didn’t have to worry about not taking Dramamine. There is a head onboard to use during the trip as well. Parking is free at the marina where the boat docks. The shop offers a great breakfast bagel for just $5. Would definitely go with this crew again and look forward to “fish on”.

Enjoyed our bay fishing trip. Captain and mates were friendly and very attentive. Worked hard to keep the bite going. Will definitely go again.

Great family owned fishing charter - friendly and knowledgeable crew that knows how to find the fish! I traveled from Maryland to fish with them. Had a great time! Highly recommend this charter for your solo adventures or trips with friends and family!

Very peaceful and relaxing. Great scenery. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely go again if im in this area!!!

Went out on the Miss Avalon today ... probably the best fishing trip I have ever been on. It was beautiful weather and the Captain made sure everyone caught fish - he knew when and where to go! Also kept us abreast of all the sea action going on while we were busy catching fish after fish by letting us know of whale and dolphin sightings! The crew was amazing. I am not the best fisherperson and tangled up alot - the deck hands were always there to get be back in the water! The boat was safe, clean and well staffed! Cant say enough good things about the Miss Avalon! Looking forward to coming back again and again!

Great fun with very attentive staff. Smooth ride out to the water and got to fish for roughly 2 and a half hours. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely do it again. Plus we caught two fish which they filet and skin for you right on the boat.

Had a lot of fun on Miss Avalon. Brandon and Irv were super helpful. Plenty of staff on the boat to accommodate everyone. Will definitely be doing this again next year. Everyone had a blast!

Team building on steroids! I recently chartered the Miss Avalon, my self and 46 others and we had a beautiful day on the ocean. This private event was fantastic, Capt Irv, deckhands Alex and Sam were super attentive and the fish biting. The boat is the perfect size, it was nice having just our party on the water. The boat has plenty of space to fish, indoor space with lunch tables to eat your packed lunch and when ur tired of fishing head up to the upper deck to sun and relax. Captain Irv, was so accommodating for my group, he interacted with the adults and the kids making all of us feel welcome. The location is fantastic, mins from Wawa to stock your cooler, and the pier has parking directly in front of the boat. There isn’t food for purchase onboard, so make sure you pack.

What a phenomenal experience! We had a mixed group, including four 3-year olds. The Miss Avalon team took great care of all of us to make sure everyone was safe and had properly functioning equipment. They replenished bait quickly and took us to lots of locations, ensuring that we caught over 40 fish - 5 keepers! The boat is nice and safe, and there was no rocking or risk of sea sickness on the bay side. The boat also has a bathroom. All of us, including the kids, got to reel in a fish and experience fishing in the best way possible. I highly recommend this establishment - top notch!!!

Should be flounder in the bay. Lady Avalon is a nice mellow trip and the crew is great.
Miss Avalon is a little more serious and longer but still good family fare. The more serious stuff would be fishing 6 person charters going off shore probably to the Baltimore canyon for tuna. Awesome but not for the faint of heart. Several good ones leave from Wildwood and Cape May

Absolutely you will arrive as a beginner and leave an expert. We will provide everything you need, rod, reel, bait, and instructions. We even bait your hook for you and will take off the fish you catch. You need to bring sunscreen. You can pick up sandwiches at Moran’s at the dock. We have a small snack shop on boat for drinks and chips. Fish on!

fish on the miss avalon since 1957 and loved it. was a much smaller boat "back in the day"
maybe 24 foot? I believe the captain back then was captain hurd's dad?Look foward to
getting back from denver, getting a hoagie at the dock to take on board and catching "flondo!"

Are the evening bay sunset cruises available for very small parties of like 5 or 6 people perhaps to get in with another group charter? Sounds like it is charter only and not sure cost would work if only a few of us.
