C'est une très bonne idée de faire ce cours. Je l'ai fait car des amies rencontrées 2 jours auparavant avaient réservé ce cours et je me suis dit que ce serait très intéressant et cool pour se plonger dans la culture balinaise. Je n'ai pas du tout été déçue : nous avons pu découvrir le marché local, les détails de l'irrigation des rizières, comment sont construites les maisons à Bali, comment faire de l'huile de coco et surtout comment cuisiner ici à bali et les différents ingrédients utilisés. Nous avons fait une soupe, un plat de poulet, un plat de poisson et un dessert, qui sont tous super bon . C'est très satisfaisant de manger ce qu'on a préparé.

Very interesting and fun! Learned a lot about Balinese culture and cooking, and of course, the food was delicious! The host showed us around the local market (but all the food we used to cook was from the supermarket so it was safe for foreigners). They also showed us how to make an offering. Now, to try some of these recipes at home!

We booked our tour on a random recommendation from a passing tourist on a fast boat, so very pleased we listened to her!
Todays cooking class was probably the best value for money experience we have done while here in Bali.
It wasn’t just about cooking, but also understanding the local foods, farming and spirituality.
The cooking was fun, informative and ran like a well oiled machine
Thank you to everyone who helped make todays experience so special

This is a experience we will never forget. We got picked up at first and then we went to a local market where we got all the information about the ingredients that will be used in the dishes.
Then we went to their family home where we learnt a lot about the Balinese culture en the way they live.
Then we started the cooking class: it was really great and we got the way of cooking well explained. Afterwards we got to eat all the food we maked and it was delicious. We had so much fun and would do it all again 🙏🏼 thank you so much!!!

We had an amazing day at Periuk Cooking! Early morning tour through the market was fantastic and we learned a lot about fresh produce. We also learned a lot about rice cultivation. Pick up and drop off included was great.
We had a multi-generational group (grandparents, parents and kids (12,10,7) and there was something for everyone to do. So many different age-appropriate jobs. Our 7 year old was made to feel very welcome. (She was super interested, patient and well behaved which helped). It is a long day - so I would not recommend for children below 10 year (unless you have kids who are super patient and likely to engage).
The food was delicious and we will definitely try making at home again.

This was a great experience - from learning new things at the market tour, to preparing a variety of Balinese dishes. Family run, they are always happy to cater for dietary requirements. Very friendly, fun and seamlessly run, so you're involved in the cooking process of each dish without having to worry about the dishes! The feast at the end was delicious!

Cours de cuisine extra avec un chef hors paire! Avec visite au marché local avec le détails des épices et leur utilisation , stop dans une rizière avec les explications sur la culture du riz . Cours de cuisine dans la joie et la bonne humeur avec plusieurs préparations balinaises . Pour finir par une dégustation des délicieux plats préparés . Personnels accueillants et souriants . Je recommande vivement. Merci pour ce bon moment

This is an amazing cooking course, highly recommend them! There is great communication throughout and the team make sure they're aware if you have any onward travel that they need to be aware of. The class itself is very informative and questions are encouraged throughout, you get a chance to cook everything and contribute equally so even with a full class you don't miss anything. I would also note that they are very cautious and professional around dietary concerns and preferences, putting on different dishes and always sure to keep separation- really very professional. The food itself is delicious and a good variety on the menu. Overall a 5 star experience.

I think so. The organiser is very friendly and this is a family run business so I am pretty sure they will be able to accommodate the two children. All cooking is supervised so I would not see any problems.

First, I am sorry for the Lombok earthquake.
I will be staying at "Novotel Bali Ngurah Rai Airport" from the 26th to the 27th of August.
And we will stay at the kayon resort in ubud from 27th to 28th of August.
In this case, can you pick up at the novotel hotel on the morning of the 27th and drop off at the kayon resort after the cooking class is over?
If you can do that, I would like to book 2 people in the morning class on the 27th.
