Our tour was wonderful! Beautiful surroundings, frequent stops whenever we wanted. Local wayung served fruit half way, busy road riding then through the rice fields was a great contrast.

We did the cycling tour around Ubud with 4 girlfriends and really loved it! Kadek and his colleague are so kind and helpful. The combination of nature, nice views and culture as superb! I strongly recommend Bali Eco tours.

My husband and I did the Ubud rice field and temple walk. It was a great experience and we were taken to places where there was no one else around! We walked through rice fields, across the river and through the jungle to view temples that were one thousand years old! We were ready to go after trying Luwak coffee in the morning and had refreshing fresh coconut water on the way. The day ended with a nice lunch. The guide and driver were friendly and informative. Highly recommend!

Fun and scenic cycle through north Bali countryside meeting locals and learning a lot along the way.
Very informative tour with Mudita - only 2 of us on the tour so we skipped the coffee plantation visit and enjoyed the breakfast overlooking Mt Batur before freewheeling through ‘real’ Bali for a few hours (with the very occasional hill) . Mudita was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions and we had many stops to see a traditional Bali house compound, rice harvesting, Nyepi statue building . Very easy ride but great to get away from touristy areas- cycle route was very quiet . Finished with nice lunch and side trip to a waterfall (optional)

Our tour guide Madito (hope I’ve got that right) was super friendly and knowledgeable and was able to answer any questions we had. He made us feel really welcome and comfortable straight away. It was also great to see some of the rural parts of Bali with some spectacular views. All in all a wonderful experience and well done to our amazing tour guide!

Loved this tour! Breakfast views were spectacular overlooking Mt Batur and the food was delicious 💜
Our guide was amazing, so knowledgeable and we loved our cycle through rural Bali and visiting a local family’s compound was a highlight.

Guide was really great. Friendly and chatted the whole way. The tour was well run with great communication. The hike is spectacular. And reaching the top tou have a great breakfast.

We enjoyed very much field cycling day with our guide Surdiana. Our family with 17yrs daughter and 9 yrs. old son had the chance to learn more about family life, religious traditions and daily work in rice field. Perfect day and opportunity to learn more about local habits. Special thanks to Surdiana!

You'll learn so much about Balinese culture on this trip -- it is truly educational! You stop at a small agro farm and learn about what grows in Indonesia (cocoa, coffee, etc.) and sample different coffees and teas. The biking is more like coasting downhill -- you will hardly have to pedal. You get to enter a private family compound and learn about who lives where and why and about death and burial customs and which child inherits the compound and why it can never be sold. You'll learn about how Balinese children are named. You stop in a rice field and learn about planting and harvesting. And, you can ask any questions along the way or request to stop if you see something interesting (we added a stop at a roadside shop that did wood carving; we also asked our guide to find a large spider as we had that on an earlier trip and he did!) and your guide will happily accommodate. We are Americans living in Jakarta and every time we take visitors to Bali we do this tour with them. It was closed down during Covid so we were so excited they're operating the cycling tour again!!! It was the highlight of our visitors' time in Bali!!!! We learn something new every time. They are using a new restaurant at the end for lunch and it is excellent and a great change! This trip is so worth the price and never disappoints!

My mum and I went on a private tour, due to last minute booking/ not enough numbers with Kadec for 2.5 hours in the morning & it was a beautiful and amazing way to see Ubud! We thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a great workout & we often stopped to take breaks and enjoy the view! Kadec was very insightful & accomodating- as we preferred riding & asking questions along the way as appose to stopping at the usual tourist spots. Easy location to meet via our hotel driver, great bikes, helmets & water provided. Extra cost for private tour of 15-20 USD.

For full day cycling tour, normally you will be back in Ubud between 15:30-16:00 PM.
I could recommend you to do the sunrise cycling, which you can be back around 10-11 am in Ubud.
