The food was amazing.
The people was really nice and explain the whole process in detail. We had the time to visit the market and coffee plantation before cooking as well.

Experiencia muy recomendable, paseo por el mercado y los campos de cultivo con clases de cocina muy variadas.

Two of us visited Bali Manggang when staying in Ubud. We got picked up from hotel, visited the local food market and then a luwak coffee tasting place. When we got to the cooking class, the set up was great and the people so friendly and helpful. The food we made as a group was delicious and there was plenty to go around. They were accommodating to allergies/dietary preferences. Pick up was around 0800 and we left the class around 1300

A fantastic day, with a lovely start at the market and coffee plantation. We were then greeted by the family and welcomed to cook with them. We learnt how to cook 10 different items our favourite being the satay and the dumplings! They were incredible!

It was a great experience with super nice people who tell you a lot about the food and ceremony of Bali. You can learn a lot when you are listening well and ask questions.
The food was great and a lot! Come hungry!
There is a pickup service included and worked just fine!

A seamless fun cooking experience with traditional recipes and active participation of the attendees. The recipes are fairly easy, practical and tasty and prepared at a family compound which made this very personal. Ketut - our driver - added humour and guided the process. Recipes are shared and there was a nice touch at the end when certificates were handed out. Half day - so not too long yet still educational. The visit to the coffee plantation was plus.

This was the most incredible experience. You cook over 10 dishes while over looking a lush jungle. Dewi is the sweetest lady in the world. She’s like the grandma you always wish you had, wise and an excellent cook. Couldn’t recommend this enough!

WOW! Such an amazing experience and a must do if you’re in Ubud. The guides and class teachers were all so informative and encouraging. I came alone to the class but the group was intimate and very friendly so a great vibe. The food was delicious and I will definitely be recreating at home.

Loved the experience, super friendly hosts and food was delicious. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a cooking class in Bali.

Très belle expérience, nous avons tout d’abord fait la visite du marché ensuite nous sommes aller dans une plantation et avons goûté différents cafés dont le Luwak coffee (que nous avons pris en supplément) puis nous avons cuisiné plusieurs plats traditionnels et pour finir nous avons mangé. Le paysage est magnifiques (dans la jungle). Et le guide est très sympa !

It’s probably best to do it with at least one other person as you make a lot of dishes and a lot of it will go to waste. You can take some with you I suppose.
It certainly doesn’t need a group. We did it as a couple.
