Lovely place. Knowledgeable staff and good atmosphere. I purchased a gorgeous piece of fabric which was a silkscreened batik. Prices are higher than Ikat Batik but the fabric I purchased - enough for a dress, was reasonable, $35 Australian. Worth a visit.

Excellent choices of amazing fabrics.
Hand woven and hand painted.
Many products including homewares and scarves and silk flowing dresses. Simple shopping bagels to beautiful purses.

A bit out of the main drag but well worth the effort. I've been following Tradisi on FB for about three years now. I ordered some cushion covers about two years ago and absolutely adore them. I was very excited to finally visit the shop. As the owners travel to the islands to source their products, there is a constant stream of different things in store. I bought my mother in law a beautiful red batik. I was so very tempted to buy myself a piece of art in the form of a sarong...but found it hard to justify the price. That said, if you are interested in material, art and fabric, this place is heaven. The craft involved is amazing and the pieces are exquisite. I love that the artists are paid a proper price for their craft.

Not a bad place to stop if you have an interest in fabrics, but we found Ikat Batik (4 stars) and Threads of Life (5 stars) to be more impressive. I did get a couple fabric purses here that were fun but there wasn't a whole lot to choose from.

My partner and I were walking to the Monkey Sanctuary after a Babi Guling lunch in Nyuh Kuning and stumbled on this textile store. A young woman named Puspita guided us through our perusal of the store. Having seen many fabrics peddled during our 3 day stay in Ubud as "real batik" I could tell that the store was different and had unique, quality textiles. Puspita was not pushy in any way for us to make a purchase and explained that the store was a joint worker-owned collective that has a mission to collect unique pieces of hand-made fabrics from various regions of Indonesia to support the trades work of women working in weaving and batik making.
I fell in love with a beautiful batik piece and could tell from the feel of the fabric and from the print design that it was expertly and personally crafted. My partner found a heavier woven piece which he liked and was told it could be made into 2-4 pillow covers (depending on size of pillow) and 1 bed runner within 24 hours. As we were leaving Ubud that same day, we were able to coordinate with a local driver friend to pick-up the piece up and bring to us in Uluwatu. The store attendant was very understanding and open to helping us coordinate this.
If you are looking for the real deal for batik and handmade textiles in Ubud, please check this place out. They have a wonderful mission where a portion of the sales goes to support local business and ventures run by women.

とてもかわいらしくて感じの良い店員さんが、控えめながら色々と商品の説明をしてくれた。大きな店ではないので品数はそれほどないが、良い品が揃っているので見るだけでも楽しい。ニュークニンに滞在する時は是非また寄りたい。

Visit here if you’re looking for traditional quantity and handmade textiles and products. A beautiful variety of soft furnishings, clothing and a couple of small jewellery pieces. I bought a beautiful fabric necklace and hubby a traditional batik sarong.

Ich habe für 300 Euro einen riesige Tasche voll hanggewebter Stoffe aus allen Teilen Indonesiens gekauft. Wunderschön! Ich liebe meine Ikats aus Sumba.
Ich komme beim nächsten Bali Besuch auf jeden Fall wieder.

My husband and I found this little gem and absolutely loved all the fabrics here. We bought cushion covers and some fabric from which the tailor made a runner and napkins. They were so kind that they accommodated our tight schedule and got us the runner and napkins within hours and even delivered it to our hotel. Thank you!!!! We love our pillow covers and runner/napkins.
