Takes at least 4 days to kife surf. Still worth it!

Lidia and Kihwan were fun and relaxed, super friendly, very well organised and prepared. Both really skilled at kiting and teaching, adapted their lessons to fit both of us as learners. We had a great time and really enjoyed it! Amazing teachers and a great location. They also have really great equipment, all very new. We will definitely be back!

I contacted the owners, Lidia and Kihwan, on their Facebook page and received a lightening quick response with comprehensive answers to all my detailed questions. The owners are highly experienced and professional yet at the same time infectiously positive, fun, and caring. This is a great place to learn as a beginner but kite surfers of every level come here. The water in the usual location is very clean and flat. I flew down there from Seoul 3 weekends in a month. Highly recommended.

If you are around don't hesitate to schedule a class or rent equipment from these guys. Super friendly,super helpful. We spend just one day with them and it was fabulous. Their equipment was top class, they follow all security rules and are one of the best school I've been to.

After checking the wind forecast, I decided to contact Jeju kitesurfing via their Facebook page to make an appointment for kite surfing. I got swift feedback and arranged my visit on Jeju. I had a wonderful first day of kitesurfing on Jeju and will definitely come again when there is enough wind. Lidia & Kihwan, the owners of Jeju kitesurfing, are very kind, professional, caring, and have all equipment required for renting and getting lessons. If you visit Jeju and you are interested in Kitesurfing: Don't think twice and go for it!

Visited Jeju to walk famous walking trails but saw kiters at Hamdeok beach and decided to rent the gear too. I had 3 out of 4 days wind and K1 from Jeju Kitesurfing was very professional. He had all sizes i needed and let me also test new boards throwing in occasional tips how to jump better. Must try experience in Jeju. Views from the water are even better than views on the beach.

They are very friendly and fun people. They tell me step by step from the beginning. Actually it is the easiest way is to get started learning through them. Very safe and can learn easily and quickly.
I love the way they teach.
Also Jeju Island, such a nice beach and a clear sea! Good wind, jade sea..
I fell in a great scenery. It was a really special experience for me.
I want a Kitesurfing and traveling in beautiful Jeju again.

I have kitesurfed in a lot of places around the world and never expected to kite in Korea! This a really pretty, uncrowded spot with lots of space for riders and stunning views of the mountains behind. The water was pretty much perfectly flat water, with a steady 18 knots and sunny skies. Fabulous. It would suit beginners as the water is shallow and calm close to shore (it gets deeper further out) but also more advanced rider as there is tons of space to try tricks. A spot like this in Europe would be rammed with kitesurfer and windsurfers so it was a real treat to have so much space.
The owners and instructors are the super friendly Lidia and Kihwan, a Polish and Korean couple who have set up their own school having taught in Egypt, Boracay, Poland, Greece and Vietnam. All the kit is in mint condition and they are super knowledgeable and very friendly. The beach feels very secluded with the traditional Korean ladies searching for mussels in the rocks. The kite station has a great no- frills cabin for storing kit which offers bit of shade when you want to come off the water and take a break with cool drinks, a kettle, a shower, the cutest kite dog ever, Soju, their fluffy labradoodle.

Jeju is one of the best kite spots in Asia from April to October, there are 4-5 major kite spots so depending on wind direction you can kite in different beaches with different riding conditions - big waves, choppy, flat water, deep water etc.
Jeju Kitesurfing run by Lidia and Kihwan - the first kite instructors living in Jeju for the season, they are the best "friends" for kitesurfers who can share general kiteboarding holidays information + kite lessons + rentals + most importantly "fun", as most of the kitesurfers visiting Jeju and local kite crews are all connected through Lidia and Kihwan. Lidia and Kihwan can provide wide range of lessons from learning how to ride as a beginner, to advance your tricks for freestyle and above.
Also there are local kitesurfing competitions(festivals) which allows visitors to join as well, pretty cool to be a part of it.

My husband and i live in Jeju and decided to learn kitesurfing to enjoy this growing summer activity in Jeju Island. We took full beginner course and learnt how to ride and become independent with Kihwan and Lidia. They helped us not only with training, but introduced us to all kitespots in Jeju and helped buy the equipment. We now enjoy kitesurfing in korea, philippines and vietnam. Very addictive sport and once you try you will plan all your free time around it. Thank you and we recommend!!
