My husband and I visited the Jeju island this summer for 3 days with O’ngo. We consider food as the most important thing when we travel. And that was the reason for us to travel with O’ngo Food tour.
Our guide was so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He spoke great English. We learned a lot from him about the culture and nature for 3 days. Every restaurant he took us was tasty and something that we never can find by our own. We loved the abalone rice and black pork BBQ!
I totally recommend this Jeju private to anyone who visits Jeju.

I visited jeju island with my girlfriend last month and actually I was worried when I was making our tour plan. cuz both of us can’t speak Korean. it is actually kind of big problem cuz most of Koreans can’t really speak English. also I’m not really a big fan of travel packages as we wanted to explore the local life and taste the local food, feel the local mood! So I chose private guide.
It was a great choice and we did all what we wanted at jeju! The guide's English was great and she brought us to where we wanted
We saw amazing columnar joint, and tasted lots of different foods.
The guide's explanation and translation was perfect and she was such a good advisor too, she suggested us to try some great food and brought us to some restaurants and The food was awesome!
All the day she tried her best with us and we felt that she really wanted to make us have fun! We were really happy with her efforts and we do really appreciate it!
If u were ever concerned about jeju island private tour, then my advice to u is to call them right away!!

My husband and I have been on several tours in the U.S. and in the world, and the three day, two night tour in Jeju through O'ngo Food with Lydia exceeded our expectations for a phenomenal tour experience. Communicating with O'ngo was great and they provided us with all the information we needed to feel comfortable with our choice. And, while they are known for their food tours, this was a cultural experience of Jeju over a few days that included lunch. O'ngo helped us with transfers in Seoul to and from the airport to get to Jeju, and Lydia was there to greet us at the airport in Jeju with so much energy, enthusiasm and friendliness. She is quite the Jeju expert and her English was great. She entertained the plethora of questions that my husband had for her as we toured Jeju with a great attitude and provided great stories about the history of Jeju. She tailored the tour to our interests and was quite flexible. She made sure we were well taken care of and had a great, memorable experience. Particularly enjoyed the Manjanggul Cave, Daepo cliffs, and the Cheonjiyeon water falls. Lydia definitely made excellent food recommendations as well. Would do it all again in a heart beat - highly recommend visiting Jeju with the expertise of a private guide through O'ngo - Lydia is amazing!

I booked my trip for Jeju through O'ngo Food. It was a simple process of communicating what I wanted in a tour. My contact at O'ngo was always very quick to respond to my e-mails or phone calls. The company did a wonderful job of planning my birthday trip for me. Their English was excellent and I enjoyed the planning process.
Once I arrived in Jeju, Eun Young Lydia Park, my tour guide took over. She greeted my warmly at the airport in Jeju and helped me with my luggage. Her English was wonderful as well. She took me to my hotel, the Astar, and helped me get checked in. I loved the hotel too. We decided to meet in the morning at 9 am. Lydia was punctual and courteous. She planned an excellent two days for me in Jeju. She made it her mission to give me an authentic experience of the island.
Truly, I loved my private tour. It was an amazing birthday weekend from start to finish. Lydia went above and beyond the call of duty by buying me a perfect birthday cake, and she gave me a very thoughtful gift. The restaurants she selected were wonderful. I ate the most delicious food and plenty of it. At the end of my trip, Lydia returned me to the airport on time and helped me to the security check point. She was such an excellent guide from beginning to end. I would recommend O'ngo and Lydia to anyone who wants to enjoy Jeju at its best.

This was a cruise ship stop for us and we had arranged a private tour. Susie was great. She spoke English well, was enthusiastic and tried to pleased a servant us. I highly recommended this company. The day went very well.

My husband and I went to Jeju for a few days as part of our honeymoon, and Lydia (Eun-Young) was our private guide. This was bar none the best tour we've ever been on. We could see that Lydia had gone out of her way to make sure she picked locations that would fit with our interests, and gave great explanations on each place we went to. I especially liked that since we were travelling as a couple, she picked locals-only restaurants and cafes to show us that we could never have gone to as part of a large tour group. She clearly had great relationships with owners and managers of many venues, and it made the experience all the better. The price of the tour was more than fair for the service we got, and it was very convenient that admissions fees and lunch/dinner were included. We would wholeheartedly recommend Lydia and the O'ngo's Jeju tour.

Before we went to Seoul, a friend told me of her good experience with the O'ngo cooking school. After looking at the website and consulting with my traveling companions, we decided that the Street Food tour looked like something we'd want to do. It was easy to book on-line and the company was in communication with us. It was cold and rainy on the day that we had the street food tour, and we asked to change the date to Saturday, but there were no tours over the weekend, so we went on our rainy evening tour. Inhwan (our guide) planned a path so that the rain wasn't bothersome. For $40, he took us to five stops, from a basement food stall venue with Korean "sushi" and freshly made kimchi, to fried dumplings, toppoki, and this amazing dessert bar! The food was excellent and we tried dishes and "mom/pop" stops that we probably wouldn't have ever eaten/entered if not for the tour. It was 2 delicious hours. We learned about Korean culture and foods. It was a top-notch food tour. (The cooking school looked pretty interesting, too).

Our experience with O'ngo was great! Lydia (Young) was our guide for our 3-day tour and we enjoyed every minute! The best way to see and explore this island is by car and having a private, guided tour by a local was even better!
Lydia was always punctual and always greeted us with a smile! She took us to see as much as possible and customized the tour to what WE wanted to see... you won't find that with group tours! The weather also happened to be absolutely perfect the week we went in April, so that also added to having such a wonderful experience! Lydia brought us to many of Jeju's iconic sites and educated us on a variety of subjects relating to Jeju. Our favorite part was all the great local restaurants she took us to! We spent 6 weeks in Korea and some of best and most memorable meals were on Jeju!
Lydia was hands down one of the best tour guides that we've ever experienced in all our travels. She was friendly, personable, and very caring. She grew up on the island and therefore knew the island very well. You will not find a guide like Lydia on the group tours!
I hope this review helps you decide if this tour is for you. If you want to see Jeju there is no better way than to book a tour with Lydia at O'ngo!

We had the best experience with O'ngo's Jeju tour. My husband and I live in Seoul but wanted a weekend getaway. Knowing we wouldn't have much time we decided a private tour would allow us to see as much as possible in our limited timeframe. We don't regret this decision AT ALL!
From the very beginning, my email correspondence with Hong was always very professional and very timely. There was never a communication breakdown and all of my questions were answered. We were told that Lydia would be our tour guide and she was fabulous. It was such a relief to wake up, have someone pick you up, and take you around to all of the sites without having to figure out navigation, hours of operation for various sites and of course having someone who speaks the local language helps! We had some rain on one of the days but Lydia was able to adjust our schedule to find attractions that would be more appropriate for the weather. If my husband and I were alone, we most likely would have wasted an entire day trying to find things to do indoors.
I really can't say enough amazing things about this company. If you're on the fence, trust me, it's worth it!
