I came across this beautiful carpet shop after dinner with my family. We went to have a browse through the carpets and could not resist buying one to take back home.
Baqi was very polite and helpful.
If you’re looking for high quality and stunning designs at affordable prices then this is a must visit shop.

Went to this shop today and bought the most beautiful carpet! Baki was so helpful and polite and most of all honest. Both himself and his father were extremely lovely and showed us the most incredible carpets made of wool and with authentic sheep colours (not dyed). The carpets sold here are hand crafted and 100% authentic - if you are coming to buy a genuine and authentic TURKISH carpet it is a must to visit this beautiful shop.
(Please be wary as we learnt many carpet shops you may be taken to during tours are often not made in Turkey but rather great replicas of turkish design made from China or India)
The quality is gorgeous and worth every penny. Baki also helped pack the carpet immaculately and compact in a carry on bag - which we were able to carry with ease as hand luggage on our flight despite it being a largely sized rug!

I bought two rugs from Özgür. He was very helpful and the rugs are both great quality and were a good price. He also arranged the shipping back to the UK, and timed it so that they arrived two days after I got home.
I could not ask for a better service.

We walked into this shop still unsure whether to get a carpet from Cappadocia.
Ozgur greeted us with low energy. We looked around and exchanged Q&A with him on some carpets. He then apologized and explained why he was down. We appreciated his honesty.
lol Having not really gone around other carpet shops, I felt his honesty in selling and was not pushy at all. Despite not feeling well, he entertained us respectfully and gifted my kids some souvenirs before we left.
Needless to say, we walked out with 2 rugs that I now value so much. What you said Ozgur was also memorable to us and I pray for your dear mom ❤️

Ventured in looking for one type of carpet in mind, came out with entirely another! And couldn’t be happier. Eko and his young nephew were happy to unfurl rug after rug, just to find the elusive ‘one’ that would make the heart sing.
It arrived just a week after our return home, as promised, and it looks fabulous. My husband was back in Australia and unable to confer on the purchase, but he too loves my choice.
Thank you Eko, for your persistence! This woollen carpet is beautiful, the weaving is very fine, so the pattern looks lovely and so natural.

Had a very helpful and pleasant experience buying a fantastic and reasonsbly priced carpet. Delivery was included and was arranged hassle free to coincide with our return home to Perth, Australia.

After a horrible experience, with no purchase, at a carpet showroom on a tour it was a PLEASURE to do business with Ozgur at Dowry Carpets.
We were reluctant to enter any carpet shops but came here because no one pressured or harassed us every time we passed it over 4 days.
After viewing a few pieces we fell in love with a silk machine made carpet that is actually blue but changes colour depending on the light. We negotiated a fair price and Ozgur was honest explaining everything to us. He arranged for it to be sent via FEDEX so that it would arrive at my home just as I would arrive home. All information and tracking details were provided and it arrived in Australia within 6 days of shipping.
We are in love with the carpet, the genuine service received and the lovely extra gifts he included with our purchase.
Wonderful service and highly recommended.

I walked in wanting to buy a rug for my parents and perhaps one for myself.
I didn’t realise I was going to get so much information from how they are made, the difference in quality, the difference in what’s used to make them and colour them, the story behind all the different patterns and designs.
We were treated to hot apple tea while making the hard decision on what one to buy, there were so many to choose from but in the end I walked out with one for my parents and a very special one for myself.
