This is a really lovely shop to browse around as you get a real sense of the diversity of products that are made by real craftsmen in Turkey. Nothing mass produced, many antique items, just a lovely sight for the eyes. Best of all no hassle to buy, just the option to wander and enjoy and ask questions about the items for sale. A really enjoyable experience.

Fab place for genuine traditional Turkish crafts. Owner and assistants extremely knowledgable and helpful. Amazing products ranging from textiles to jewellery.

Amazing shop and knowledgeable proprietors. Beautiful products including antique Turkish rugs and handicrafts. Lots of beautiful and interesting items to be found here. Complete with background kmowledge on your purchases.

Yatçılık ve denizcilik üzerine çok fazla seçenek var. Otantik ve keyifli, sakin bir yer. Çok küçük ama tüm ihtiyaçlarınızı karşılarsınız

Neat shop and location, has some quality Turkish products you probably won't find elsewhere. If you have the time, worth a visit.

This shop run by Margo sells only products hand made in Turkey. Absolutely no mass produced imported items. The variety of items stocked is very wide from key rings to glass or ceramic plates and vases.
You will never find items the same elsewhere as they all vary slightly due to them not coming off some endless conveyor belt in China or similar. You will be the envy of your friends when you get home.
After you have been spoiled for choice in Margo's shop, why not wander some 100 metres or so to the right where you will find her husband Levent's shop, again full of unique hand made products, but this time specialising in Turkish rugs and carpets. He will even wrap them up for you so you can take them back on the plane.
Happy hunting. You will not be disappointed

Walking around any holiday resort in Turkey where there are a multitude of shops of all kinds from selling Turkish sweets, to tablecloths, hangings for your wall, rugs, clothes, the variety is endless, and of course the quality will be very variable.
On a recent visit to the lovely little sea front village of Gocek which is about 40 minutes from Dalaman, I found this shop, which I believe has been there for some years, which as far as I could see doesn't have someone trying to attract your attention to enter; and in fact on entering you can see why it is not necessary.
This shop has an amazing selection of ceramics, Kilims, cushions and towels and lots more. On speaking to the very knowledgable staff, I found out that their produce is sourced from Turkish manufacturers from all parts of this large country, often from small producers, which sounds to me like a wonderful thing in these days of "made in China" being on most of our labels, even from countries when we are abroad.
I was looking for a towel which could be used for sunbathing on, but also for drying oneself, and eventually bought a beautiful cotton/bamboo mix towel in the most exquisite delicate colours and the bonus is that it is not bulky. In fact later, when back in base I used it as a shawl and had many compliments about it.
I was tempted to buy more, but luggage allowances didn't allow for this! But, next time I visit that area I will hopefully have more space in my case to buy more.
Margo who I was helped by, was incredibly knowledgable without being "pushy" which is so refreshing.
