I had an amazing time here making a lamp each with my 13 year old son. You can choose from various items to make for yourself. It was great fun using the machinery, the staff were brilliant at guiding you through it all, letting you do the vast majority of it and just helping enough to enhance our finished products!
We're delighted with our lamps - a great souvenir to bring home. I made one to put a candle in and we bought a "bottle light" when we got home to put in my son's.
I would thoroughly recommend and it was my son's highlight of his whole trip to Vietnam!

This experience was amazing. I have nothing negative to say. We arrived and were shown all the amazing things that can be done with bamboo and were asked what we’d like to make. Then we were expertly guided through every step to make what we wanted. This craft filled my soul with so much joy! Definitely a highlight of our trip to Hoi An.

We picked this as a bit of a gamble as Hoi An as a whole had been a bit of an overhyped, tourist theme park letdown, and I’m so glad we did. The guys running it are not only absolute master craftsmen, but also excellent teachers. Pick what you want to make, they will give you guidance, let you have a practice, then you just get on with it. The results were so much better than we expected and such a great three hours.

Such a fun experience! It’s amazing how much you can do with bamboo. Like many others I don’t have a lot of experience with wood work and tools but the workers helped so much and guided me a long the way. I thought it was such a wholesome day

Super expérience !! A l'écoute et patient, j'ai une très jolie lampe à rapporter :) Les produits sont de qualité et le fait de tout faire est très satisfaisant

We didn’t think this experience would be so go. The host spoke good English, very informative and really enthusiastic. Amazed at what you can do with bamboo and amazed at how beautiful the lamp was that I made. Really do recommend you visit this place if ever you visit Ho an

Our driver collected us from our hotel in Hoi An and delivered us to Taboo. I haven't worked with tools for many years and my wife has never used them. Despite this, we chose the articles that we wanted to make. Both of us thinking that the level of workmanship was beyond our capabilities. Tan and his colleague assisted us to make the items and ensured that we ended up with something beautiful to take home and treasure. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend it. Make sure to wear clothes that you don't mind getting a bit dusty.

Fantastic ! I had no idea you could make so much out of bamboo. The staff were really good. We made some lovely things to take away which will forever remind me of them and Vietnam . Thank you

Fun experience, the workers are very knowledgeable and speak good english, they really help you in the process of making items out of bamboo.
