A friend sent me to this shop to buy more shirts for her. I bought a gorgeous light t-shirt style top, so perfect for hot weather as it doesn't get sopping wet! I went back to buy more.

It was so hot and I didn’t have appropriate clothes. I picked up the cutest shift and wore it through out Vietnam and Singapore. I wish I bought more than one.

I had a pair of shoes made and a purse, and my husband had shoes made. My shoes are way too small and I’m scared I won’t be able to wear them once I’m home (especially not with socks!) but maybe (as the lady assured me they would) they will stretch because they’re made of leather.
The purse was 100% not custom made but their floor model with straps added, which is fine, but they made a huge show of telling me how new and custom it was special for me—just be honest. I know it was the floor model because of the matching scuff marks and the fact that the floor model was missing when mine was ready.
My husband’s shoes were wildly too big on one foot, so they adjusted them, originally saying it would take just an hour, and then that it would take two. When we went back the shoe was a whole new shoe and a whole size down. Instead of making it smaller in the heel, as discussed, it was smaller and tighter all over and his toes touched the end. When we pointed this out they wanted us to wait another hour for them to “fix” the shoes, but we said forget it. At least they didn’t make a fuss about charging us for his shoes.
All in all the experience left a sour taste in my mouth and I wouldn’t go back or recommend it to others with so many other great places to shop. If the ladies in the store were just more honest I actually really like my purse and shoes and will hopefully use them a lot, but now I’m just annoyed and feel ripped off every time I look at them.

I bought a blouse and a dress here. The items are nice but I had to give 900.000 to buy them. I saw two staff busy on their Iphones and one of them quoted such high price. Too bad I was hurry to leave in the afternoon. Otherwise I would not buy them and looked for something else.

February, 2017 I was told about this by a regular visitor to the shop. I ended up purchasing 6 items which were beautifully made and well priced.
I am back in Hoi An and my first stop was back to this shop to buy more blouses and dresses. Unfortunately, the price quoted was ridiculous and I just could not be bothered bartering with her.
I went back about 5 days later ready to buy clothes at a reasonable price but a different woman, who did not want to get off her phone or chair, quoted 100,000 more per item and really did not want my business and I found this strange as it was really quiet in the town and in her shop.
Did not buy from her but went to Yaly and had some clothes made instead.
Sad to see.

Attention ALL ladies - When you are Hoi An...you must go here! Bambou Jaune has the most amazing cotton and bamboo silk handmade clothing you will find! It's also all very reasonably priced.
I stopped in on our first night in Hoi An as we were just walking down the street because I spotted the most beautiful white top hanging in the store. Needless to say, I left actually wearing my new treasure! The store owner also quickly made a few slight alterations to the top as I waited.
I loved the top so much that the next night, when in Hoi An Ancient Town, I stopped by the store again to purchase more items. To my dismay, the store had closed early for the evening. I was so impressed with the quality of items and service from this shop that I returned a third time the next morning to purchase more items...6 more in total. All of the items in this shop are very well made and luxurious in fabric quality. The owner was not there, on my 3rd visit, but she was called and quickly arrived to do the needed alterations for me again. Great service!
I would highly recommend checking out Bambou Jaune! Exceptional merchandise and customer service!

I was told about this shop by a regular visitor to Hoi An who shops every time she visits the town (twice a year).
You can buy off the rack or they will make items for you from the list of styles. I originally bought just 1 dress and 2 tops. All had double layers of material and were beautifully made. I wore the top the following day and loved it so much I went back and bought another 2 tops and another dress.
All were very reasonably priced, beautifully made, quality material and the staff were excellent.
Many styles and all of far better quality than many other shops selling similar items as the woman that owns the store designs and makes all her items.

je pense que ce magasin de vetements est un des meilleurs de Hoi An .Un jour au debut d'Octobre je suis arrive la bas par hasard et j'ai achete beacoup de chemises et de robes,le prix est raisonable et la patrone est tres tres sociable.
