I had visited the shop in April, 2019. Incidentally, this was one of the top rated places on TripAdvisor and surely the place has lived up to all its superlative praise.
I had brought a total of 7 scarfs from this place for my family and friends. The lady at the shop had profound knowledge about the process of silk making and how to differentiate between different qualities of silk. A must go for anyone interested in buying silk scarves in Hoi An.

I asked for a basic night dress made in silk and a pair of trousers. When I came to try them on the night dress was not made to my measurements it was too tight and just didn’t fit properly. I asked for alterations on all of the items as they all needed changes. The alterations was the reason I got this service as I wanted the clothes to fit perfectly, however the alterations were not offered easily they were agreed begrudgingly. On the final visit the dress still wasn’t right. It was still too tight on the bust making the fabric gape in some places and pull in other places. We were leaving that day so I had to take the dress however I was very disappointed. I had to get the dress altered again when I got home, spending more money. I will add that they did a great job of the trousers and another dress they made for me but these items were chosen from the pre made clothes they had on show just in different fabrics. My advice would be to only ask for an item you can see in the store as anything else they have trouble making.

The lovely owner had quality products, no hard sell tactics and was helpful. There were silkworms in a basket feeding on mulberry leaves. There was a rack of silkworms making cocoons outside the shop.

We’ve visited Hoi An in Dec 17 and went to Cocoon Silk. Back in Switzerland we really appreciate the beautiful clothes they made for us at cocoon. I’ve bought perfectly made shirts which are still in shape and color. They tailored it to perfection and everyday I wear them I am grateful for all the beautiful memories and the perfect fit. If we are comming back, we will definitely go again to Cocoon Silk. Just outstanding craftsmanship and such a good service! Thank you so much!

The women who work at this establishment are so nice and accommodating. Had a two piece silk jumpsuit made here. The first draft of the top didn't work out so well, as the idea in my head didn't translate well to reality (not the fault of the employees at all). However, one of the two tailors that works there was amazing and replaced the whole back of the top so that it would fit better. I ended up loving the end product and its all thanks to the ladies that work here.

I had a 2 beautiful silk dresses made here and I am very happy. The ladies are lovely and the service is extremely quick. My dresses were made within 24hrs and I had two fittings. I chose Cocoon Silk mainly because of the amount of materials there was to chose from compared to other places. Don’t regret my choice!

We came to cocoon silk to have a dress made for an upcoming wedding. The service was friendly and easy, the dress was ready in 24 hours and fit like a glove! No adjustments at all necessary! Definitely recommend!

Can only recommend Cocoon Silk due to their assistance, perfection, hand work, speed, quality etc. Value for money an a really good experience.
