לא להתקרב!
הזמנו אצלה הרבה דברים. כמעט דבר לא יצא כפי שהיא התבקשה להכין. חזרנו אליה מספר רב של פעמים לתיקונים ויצאנו ממש לא מרוצות. הלכנו לחפש מישהו אחר שיתקן את הבגדים שתפרה עבורנו.
הזמנו אצלה הרבה דברים. כמעט דבר לא יצא כפי שהיא התבקשה להכין. חזרנו אליה מספר רב של פעמים לתיקונים ויצאנו ממש לא מרוצות. הלכנו לחפש מישהו אחר שיתקן את הבגדים שתפרה עבורנו.

I asked for a design and told her what material I want. At first when I came that day to pay her, she almost started sewing with the wrong material !!! Then she began working like a robot..in the bad way.
When I asked for jeans I told her about some decoration that I want..I dont know much about clothes so it did not come to my mind to add things that make pants look like jeans. Because of the above the sewing lasted 5 !! Days. Not to mention the looks she gave me when I asked for changes..
After all of the changes, I still dont feel comfrtable to walk with them.

I brought a high waisted skirted swim bottom, kind of a retro look, that was too big on me and was hoping I could get it taken in. I haven’t been able to find anything like it in my size at stores. (This is the down side to losing weight, I guess?) Even better than taking it in, she was able to make a duplicate in a smaller size. I also brought a dress that I love and she was able to copy it. I felt that the price was really affordable, I’d asked about the dress at another place and was quoted almost double the price.
The turn around time was so fast. 24 hours and she had everything done.
Added bonus- she was super sweet to my kids who were trying to wait patiently for me, but still being wiggly kids.

I stopped because I saw a crop top and pants in a fabric that interested me. I brought in a design similar of a crop top and skirt and ended up getting 2! Then I went back for shorts! Then again for a dress she had hanging in the shop (that needed to be let out a bit for my big hips) and a skirt for work. She did a great job and I am so happy with my new wardrobe pieces! Highly highly recommend!
I also heard rumors that some of the tailors in hoi an hire back ally, low income steamtresses. When I came back to order shorts, she was working on my skirt, so she is legit. ...Legitimately amazing! ;)
Please excuse the bad hotel lighting, lack of makeup and humid affected hair in the photos. Doing more travels and wanted to get the review up asap so that more people know she is amazing asap!

תפרתי 3 בגדי ים אצלה, והכל יצא מהמםםם! אני בדרך כלל לא מצליחה להתאים לעצמי בגדי ים, ואז הגעתי לויוי והיא הצליחה לעשות הכל לפי הבקשות שלי. מאוד סבלנית, חייכנית, אכפתית ❤️

Realy cheap. Great quality. All dresses and trousers sewed in several hours. When I decided for yet another one it was fitted to me in less than half an hour. The shop looks quite shabby comparing to tailor boutiques but offers enough privacy to put on anything from swimming suit to business suit.

What a great place
I cannot praise Vy enough
How do we pick a tailor here in Hoi An?
Tough question so go to trip advisor.
Still loads to choose from so we went somewhere else with 5 stars.
They spent 45 minutes telling us that a wool suit for my daughter would cost us 200 dollars and to be wary of other not as good as them tailors.
We decided to leave it and crossed the road and walked up looking in other tailors shops
To be honest we were a little apprehensive as we wanted the suit but didn’t want to be ripped off.
We stopped at Vy s cloth shop and looked at a dress in the entrance.
Vy asks can she help and we reluctantly open up.
Great move no sales pitch gets out the fabrics works on some designs with my daughter and within a day we get 2 suits and matching business dresses for 200 dollars.
We are so pleased we all have something made my other daughter designed a jump suit which looks great and my wife and I tops and shorts or trousers
My linen shirts for 25 dollars are great.
If you are looking to have something made then go here and ask Vy to help we are all glad we did
Just say the guy from Sheffield with the 3 ladies sent you .✅

We went into Vy Vy's shop to have two dresses made per person, and I ended my trip with seven! Vy Vy is hard working and accommodating, even dropping our final dresses at our hotel. She is able to copy, almost to perfection, anything that you bring her, and she makes adjustments where needed, in no time at all. Be sure to give very specific instructions, and bring in samples, if possible. She will do whatever she can to get it right!

She forced me to stay and to sew only at her place, with talking and with big discount. This is despite the fact that she behaved with us in a terrible way. Eventually the two dresses she sewed for me came out awful.
