Worth it. Air conditioner very cool, FM radio sound very clear. Low price for low season, for example Perodua Viva manual only RM 50/24 hours.

Highly recomend, it was easy breezy to deal with them. The vehicle that were given to us was well clean and comfortable. Will definately rent from them again! Thank youuuu!!!!

Saw the add on FB randomly choose the rental agency, requested a small car with good Aircond. Got exactly what I wanted a small car with perfect Aircond with good price. Will recommend anyone and surely will rent again from the same place.

DO NOT use taxi service by Kanipan Raja : 011-11429151 and Tamo : 017-497 1145. Initially took taxi from Kanipan from Cenang to Kilim. Agreed to a price. He sent another man Tamo to pick us. Once we got to Kilim, Tamo demanded for a much higher price and according to him Kanipan told him that was the price. Called back Kanipan We could tell her was lying blatantly through the phone. And at one point he said he has already told our bargained price to Tamo. Basically had to pay more than we bargained for. Please do not use taxi service anymore. Take Grabcar. They are legit. Maybe more expensive. But legit and it’s comfortable.

Langkawi Taxi Service in Cenang, Langkawi is a good and reliable service, although they do not have taximeters, but fixed rates between places, have taxis for 4 passengers, 6 & 8 seaters (plus 50% to 100% on price), while the taxi-drivers normally are helpful, polite and non alcohol-drinkers (muslims) and not all of them speak good understandable English. Normally you don’t need a taxi to go around Cenang beach area and the longest drive in Langkawi is about 40 min (is 25 Km from North to South).
We have taken (1) a taxi from the airport to our hotel in Cenang Beach in Langkawi (and the opposite), (2) from Cenang Township to Kuah (capital of the island) and retour, as well as a taxi (3) to go around the island [(about 4-5 hours), e.g. 7 wells waterfalls, Black Sand beach, Cable Car, Crocodile farm, white beach, etc.]. For the last two trips we have used a taxi (8 seater van) with a very good taxi-driver (named Hamid bin Ngah), who was reliable, entertaining and polite. The prices were fixed and this was good in avoiding (in the majority of cases) any possible dispute (although a little bargaining could be done).
In order to go around we have used taxis from the two taxi stands on Jalan Pantai Chenang (a) one almost opposite the Cenang Mall and (b) the other outside the Langkawi Aquarium (Underwater World Langkawi), where they have the tables with the fixed prices for all possible taxi routes in the island of Langkawi.
Summing up we found the Langkawi Taxi Service reliable, we had good taxi-drivers and we cannot hesitate to suggest them.

I recommend Langkawi Taxi Service - Abd Aziz Bin Ishak was my driver. He was completely reliable, always on time and very kind. I highly recommend.

Booked online, here 2 days on a cruise, short walk and we met our driver, paid 250 Malaysian ringgit about £48 for 2 of us for 8 hours. Picked up 9am firstly went to skybridge cable car which was fantastic, paid 85 rm per person with great views then onto mangroves which we paid our taxi driver 380 rm for our own private boat, lovely beach setting then went through mangroves and fed the monkeys and saw the eagles feeding then into a cave of bats, then out to the edge of the shoreline and back through mangroves and back to our starting point, taxi then took us to a waterfall which was hard work to climb to the top in the heat but worth it , our time up so went back to ship, not enough time for other things but had a lovely day with our knowledgeable driver.

Hi there, I used 2 drivers in Langkawi both of which I would like to recommend.
If you need a regular car, Bard is your guy. Reliable, best price, on time. We used his service from Andaman to Cenang for dinner and he patiently waited for us for the return without charging for the wait. Highly recommended. Bard 60 12 589 6250
If you need a bigger car, van, Yousof is your guy. Reliable, kind personality, good price, on time. He picked us up from our hotel, we did a day tour with him and he dropped us at the end of the day to the airport. He is flexible, positive, likes to talk and explain which makes the journey a lot more fun. He gives local advise too. We finished the tour early and instead of rushing to the airport, he was very kind to ask if we like a coffee at Cenang before the flight. Usually drivers rush to finish the day and dump you but he definitely was not like that... We liked him very much. Highly recommended if you are bigger group and need a van. Yousof 60 12 573 6860

The taxi has small driver tents/booths in every small town. Talk to them and you can easily arrange a driver for a day or two.

Sorry, we haven't had a taxi to there but if you are going from the airport there is a taxi booking office, the fixed prices are all shown, you pay there and are given the number of the taxi who is going to take you there. I am sure someone will give you a price, but as there is no public transport you don't have much choice but to go by taxi. Fares are not too expensive.
