Wonderful beach, very close to busier Cenang Beach. Great place to relax and watch the world go by. A few hotels right on the beach, most allowing outside guests to enjoy the bar facilities. Amazing sunsets as well.

Een mooie beats schoon hier is het water al wat helderder maar ook hier is het aanbod van licht badges verschrikkelijk oftewel veel te weinig

The shorter stretch of the two beaches by the yet to be opened Park Royal hotel has other upmarket accomodation too. It is more quiet with fewer restaurants and hardly any shops.

Beaucoup plus agréable que la plage de Cenang, à condition d’aller dans la partie nord de la plage.
Plus au sud il y a une arrivée d’eau/ égout?, qui dégage une mauvaise odeur.

I like the white sand. Beach was clean and quite windy.lesser crowds compared to cenang beach.Had limited restaurants and they close by sunset.no night activities

I was attacked by a pack of 6-7 feral dogs at 7am on the beach, as I was just starting my run from Dash Hotel. These dogs enclosed in a circle around me within 2 minutes of my job and started barking aggressively at me. At first I thought it was a warning that I as on their territory but they were way too close to me and acting much too aggressively. One of the dogs (a white dog with black patches) behind me started to bite my calves and I started to bleed. Fortunately, a local man came with a stick and managed to drive the dogs off. Another woman who was also walking along the beach told me that they had done the same to her but she was carrying a stick.
My hotel quickly took me to the local hospital but I was not able to get a Rabies shot because I'm a foreigner and the local hospital only reserves these vaccinations for locals. I had to go to the only clinic on the island that have rabies vaccination (Boo Clinic) and paid more than RM380 for the entire experience (RM100 at the local hospital that only cleaned my wounds and RM280 for the rabies shot).
My hotel did advise that they had informed the local authorities but this and they are going to take the dogs away to be spaded (perhaps). What was scary was that if this happened to a child, they could be badly hurt (I could be as well if this other man didn't come to my rescue)

If quiet beaches is your thing, then come to Tengah. It’s pretty much deserted during day and the evening, but you are just a short 15 minute walk from the hustle and bustle of Chenang. An absolute paradise.

Walked the beach several times as no swimming was allowed till late June 2020 because of the CMCO.
Beach erosion was due to heavy surf. There are a couple of restaurants beach front and tour kiosks for boat hire.

es una playa muy tranquila con agua cálida y bastante limpia. Hay algún hotel pegado a la playa. se pueden realizar varios deportes acuáticos.
la playa todavía esta bastante virgen aunque hay planificado un montón de mega hoteles en las cercanías, una autentica pena cuando estos estén funcionando.
muy agradable al atardecer.
