While you can pay for the outdoor view from the 40th floor we opened to stop at the 37th and save the entrance fee yen. Therefore we can’t comment on the paid view. However our view was well worth the elevator ride. There’s a souvenir shop where you an peek through and see what I think you see from the top.
It was an easy walk from the Westin hotel and not much further from the JR station.

Amazing views of Osaka from this building. The topmost level is a circular outdoor walk around the top of the building.

Vistato da fuori e sotto senza salire all'ultimo piano.
È molto particolare per la sua forma con "buco" in mezzo.
Merita solo se si è già in zona, anche perché comunque si vede da lontano se si è dalla parte giusta

This is a must see structure! It was absolutely fascinating to see/read just how it was built. It’s something like 49 floors up (picture a football field, lengthwise and then add to it. That’s how high it is. From most floors you can see the surrounding buildings, which is amazing in and of itself. One floor has a gift gallery and an area to get refreshments. They even showed a machine roasting the coffee beans and then grinding them. Coffee is strong, but delicious. Plenty of other refreshments as well.

Spectacular views from a spectacular building, when you get there take the elevator to the top then take the escalator to second highest level, have a walk around and take in the stunning views of Osaka, walk around, maybe have a drink or something to snack on, then climb the stairs or take the elevator to the top of the building where there’s an outside observation walk with breathtaking views. There is a souvenir shop to browse through with lots of things that may interest you. My favourite part of the exhibition is the information room which not only has descriptions of the building sequence in English, Chinese and Korean but best of all is the short 10-minute video which shows the lifting of the top structure with 4 cranes, the structure weighed 1040 tonnes and took 7 hours to lift into place, this is the first time for this practice to be used, I thoroughly recommend spending the time reading the information and watching the video, when you finish at the top be sure to walk around the beautiful garden oasis, it was fascinating to find a serene place like this in the middle of this huge metropolis, be sure to look for the vivid coloured carp that wait for you with mouth's open hoping for a snack. I hope you enjoy this magnificent structure as much as I did.

Bellissima la struttura, imponente e dalla forma particolare, dentro piena di negozi e ristoranti di diverse tipologie. Personalmente, sono andata per vedere Osaka dall’alto, ma per arrivare all’ultimo piano si pagavano 2000yen, un po’ esagerato… pertanto ho deciso di rimanere ad un piano più basso godendo comunque di una vista spettacolare, c’era anche un negozietto di souvenir con i lucchetti attaccati vicino alla finestra di affaccio, sembrava un’opera d’arte.

Overpriced and not that special. The building is high, but that's it. We spent no more than 10 minutes at the top. There are better ways to spend your money and time.

The building offers wonderful 360 degree views from its viewing platform. It was also lovely that you could view from outside or within an enclosed level. We went just before sunset, which is ideal as you can see the city both in the light and dark, all in one visit. There is a café where you can purchase meals and a range of beverages, so it is easy to sit back and just take in the view for however long you may like.

How long are the love padlocks left up in the gills?
(I noticed all the love locks are from 2022-2023 today while searching for ours from 2020. Would have been nice to be told about this at purchase because we wouldn't have purchased it in the first place if we knew it would be taken down. The girl I spoke to at the counter spoke no english so couldn't answer. Tried a translator but I got a weird answer. We were both lost in translation. I heard about being able to request for it as it's kept in storage. Does anyone know how? How long do they keep it in storage?

During my visit, i didnt encounter any mascots because that is a weekday. Im not sure if they have on weekends.

We went there at night. City lights are wonderful. My relatives went there on a day time. They had good photos. It’s hard to capture photos at night. But I guess either is fine. Depends on your preference
What time was dusk in April? (Or when you went?)
