I'm not sure. We paid a rate to our hotel (Carana Hilltop Resort, a lovely small affordable boutique B&B) to coordinate car transit for us to the Morne Blanc trailhead, then to pick us up and take us to Beau Vallon, then to pick us up and take us to the hotel, and then the next day to the airport. For all that travel, I think we paid no more than $120 USD equivalent, which was cheaper than if we'd hired taxis the entire time. Hope this helps.

You need to take a bust which goes to Port Lunay. Then get down at the stop of tea factory. Start walking in the direction, you came (from Victoria). You will see some steps going up. That is the starting point. (There are some other trails also nearby). There are no lifts here. In fact, in Seychelles, there is hardly anything, which is man made (except for the roads.) Everything is natural.

Can be done alone. Well marked, safe and pleasant

You will need to take a bus to Port Launay going through Morne blanc route and then stop at the tea estate which is just 300 m after the Morne blanc trail start. You will get the bus from the Morne Blanc trail starting point itself but you might have to wait a lot for the return bus.

It's about 50 minutes by car, through the centre of Victoria and then up Sans Souci Road. Morne Blanc and Copolia are in the same area as Casse Dent Trail and are better.

I agree with manu’s review. Not a hike for those who have trouble walking or are in bad shape. It took us, young fit couple about 20 minites from the tea plantation, but We met people that took over an hour. Also be aware of the clouds or you might not get a view at all.
