So we go to see the Curve every year and it’s always full of nice people. I have only one warning to pass along this year. They used to have the best cheese steaks the the party deck but this year they are using an ice cream scoop for the meat. They scoop one scoop onto the grill and heat it up add cheese and toppings then put that one scoop on your bread and push it out bought 2 and one soda cost 24 dollars. So I’d say avoid this both. Everything is normal ballparks stuff with a good dash of hometown fun.

We go to a few games here every year. My boys love the children's playroom and Dad likes the cold beer. Such a nice facility really enjoy it.

Took the grandkids to game during our recent trip to Raystown. Great baseball. Great food. It was BOGO night so admission, hot dogs and pop corn were all buy one get one. Excellent value
Only negative is kids area. Very small. Each attraction was $2. Spin wheel had several ‘sorry’ spaces. Really?! For $2, you can’t give every kid a prize (tattoo, tiny slinky). Of course, 5yo granddaughter got a ‘sorry’ space and was very disappointed. They advertise as kid friendly park but the kids area is really lacking compared to other ballparks.

We have been to several minor league ballparks at all levels and this one is top notch. Overall the ballpark felt open and spacious.
We were able to purchase 2 tickets a couple of rows behind home plate for $15 as part of a two-for Tuesday deal. Parking was $3. Staff was very nice and I even got my picture taken with Al Tuna. The seating is comfortable and well-space, with plenty of room between rows. There are plenty of concessions at all levels on a nice open concourse. The baseball was pretty high quality, as there were 2 Pirates playing on rehab assignments.

In from out of town for a wedding and went as group to a Curve game. Stadium was clean. Seating was comfortable. Good selection of reasonably priced food. Just happened to be $2 Yingling draft and $1 hotdog night. Hard to beat for a relaxing evening with family and friends. If I was a resident of Altoona this would be a regular outing for me.

We actually enjoy coming over from the Pittsburgh area to see the Altoona Curve more than going to PNC Park in Pittsburgh. Don't get me wrong, PNC Park is awesome. (We don't care so much about how the teams are doing.) But everything costs so much! Tickets, I don't mind; you get what you pay for. But parking and refreshment costs are crazy. If you don't want to pay the 10 to 20 bucks to park, then you have to walk a half a mile. We used to take the kids and end up spending 200 bucks for the outing!
At his park, the parking is reasonable, as are the tickets. Seems like we always seem to be there on Thirsty Thursday when draft beer is 2 bucks and hot dogs are a buck.
My wife pointed out how friendly the staff is there. One "usher" was so delighted that we had come over from Pittsburgh. And actually thanked us. (I got the impression he was not an usher, but someone from the front office.)

I love altoona curve games, but the food costs are exorbitant. Ticket prices are very reasonable, but food and drinks costs remind you of an actual pirates game.
What a shame for such a beautiful ball park. It’s cheaper to take the whole family to Longhorn before the game.

Well worth the stop and watch them play ball. Great games are played here and you just might see or talk to the next Pittsburgh Pirate.. Some have been discovered here. The one good thing is Lakemont Park is right next door.. Fun all day long.

Belong to the silver steamer club for past 3 years
Have great seats just off third base during the season
Convenient to the concession stands
Ushers are awesome and make sure the kids get a souvenir baseball sometime during the game
Most important the games are a fun night out for the family

It's a beautiful park and the staff are always friendly and helpful. There isn't a bad seat in the house. Al Tuna, the mascot is fun to watch. Loco not so much. They have cute entertainment between innings such as the meatball race and the K Cup catch.
I love going to this park.
