We loved Kradan in the past, most recent visit May 2019, but it has changed a lot. WAY more crowded with several huge boats of daytrippers each day coming from Trang that did not happen before.

KBR has AC and all day electricity, Kalume has neither. We stayed at 7 seas before but Mali is without doubt the poshest lodgings and least crowded end of the beach.

Great island

Lovley island for snorkeling, and adventure. Got really sad for all the plastic garbage one the island that is small but really paradice looking. Best rooms i think reef, mail and kalumne got. Kradan beach resort werent a hit fore shure if not like a lot of pets in the bungalows. Such as rats, snakes, cockroaches and so on.

The best straight off the beach snorkeling I’ve ever done. It was truly incredible. Very easy swim to the reef

Kristallblå vatten, orörda stränder. Här är lugnets centrum, men oerhört behaglig atmosfär på ön. Här kan man andas. Endast bad, sol och lugn. Begränsat utbud med restauranger, man rör sig mest kring resorten. Men så mysigt! Sandiga promenader och häng i baren med en kokosnöt.

Vi var på Koh Kradan i 4 overnatninger. Der er meget stille og roligt på Koh Kradan. Der sker ikke meget. Der er kun 5-6 restauranter, som ligger på de forskellige resorts. Stranden rigtig lækker, og der er de fedeste snorkling muligheder på koralerne lige ud for resortene og stranden. Vi har på vores ferie været på Koh Lanta og Koh Ngai, men ingen af disse steder har så klar sigtbarhed i vandet eller samme variation i fiskene. Vi så både større blæksprutter, muræner og kuglefisk, ud over de mere almindelige fisk som f.eks. klovnfisk.
Koh Kradan kan bestemt anbefales, hvis man søger ro og afslapning. Efter 4 dage var vi dog også klar til kontraster, da vi drog videre til Bangkok.

Vale senz'altro la pena andarci perché il mare è bellissimo .....se si alloggia nelle isole vicine conviene andarci in giornata ( meglio ancora con una boat privata ),mangiare e tornare indietro al pomeriggio perché dormire sull isola è molto caro e le camere dei resort non hanno un rapporto qualità prezzo adeguato.......peccato però che l isola in sé fosse un po sporca ...non troppo tenuta bene ..ma purtroppo in Thailandia succede spesso ... e la colpa non è solo dei turisti perché quest'anno ce n' erano veramente pochi......

Very nice beach to spend 2 days

One of the nicest beaches I've been.
We stayed in Ko Muk for 4 days and we took a private boat to Ko Ngai, Ko Kradan and to the Emerald Cave. We felt in love with the beaches we've seen on Ngai and Kradan and we decided to stay for 2 nights there. We choose Ko Kradan because it felt a little bit less deserted than the other one.
We came on a Saturday and there were a lot of Thays who were there on a trip from different parts of Thailand. But in the afternoon all the boats left and there were very few people left on the island. The next day even fewer. We had the beach almost by ourselves.
We borrowed some snorkeling equipment from our hotel and I can say that you can do good snorkeling around. The corals are not very colorful, but there are a lot of fish to be seen!

Peaceful and relaxing

I visited Koh Kradan and the Emerald cave on a private boat tour as there are no shared boat tours at this time. I snorkeled at two locations. The first location was just off an unihabited part of the island where the water clarity was excellent. Plenty of fish to see and coral but none colourful, all brown.
The second location was just off Ao Nieng beach where everyone is taken to. The water clarity was not so good but passable. There were fish around and all the coral was brown coloured. I did not think it was so good.
I stopped off on the island and sat down under tree shade at Koh Kradan Beach Resort with a fruit shake. I could of sat there all day. It was so relaxing and quiet.
Probably I nice island to stay on for a few nights to unwind from modern day stresses.

Coral Garden Beach Resort einfach traumhaft. Vorallem Bungalow No.5!
