Belle activote a faire a Pai. Le prix de le.tree est derisoire 20 baths de memoire servant à lentretien du mont en bambou. Nous avons fait la promenade en saison seche j'imagine quen fin de saison des pluies cela doit etre plus joli car bien plus vert. On a effectué cette ballade avec grand plaisir, tres peu de monde.

Entry fee is 30 Baht and this place can be reached by taking a scooter out of town. The bridge itself is about 1km and takes about 30 mins to walk to the end including time for photos. Some of the photo opportunities are great, and the forest monastery at the end is very nice. There are buffaloes on the trail too.

At the time of our visit we were able to admire locals working in the rice paddy fields.

The Boo Ko Ku So Bridge is an 800-meter long split-bamboo walkway that meanders across rice fields and up to a small temple. While it's undoubtedly beautiful when the rice fields are green, in the dry season everything is brown and bare. You will see water buffalo grazing and enjoy the feeling of walking across the bamboo, but it's not all that exciting unless you've never seen rural landscapes in Asia before. Be warned: the 7-km road leading in to the site is atrocious and will take more than 15 minutes each way. With hundreds of tourists making their way to the bridge everyday, it is inexcusable for authorities not to repair the access road. They also charge 30 baht per visitor to walk on the bridge, which doesn't seem like much, but it's not clear exactly what all the money oollected is used for (certainly not road maintenance!). There are several small coffee and souvenir shops placed along the bamboo walkway and although it is claimed the bridge was constructed to make it easier for local people to travel to the temple, it seems more apparent that it is operated simply as a tourist trap. I wouldn't discourage anyone from visiting, but would only caution people to know what the road conditions are like and what farm activities are likely ongoing. Otherwise, you might be expecting more than this place can deliver.

We enjoyed a peaceful stroll along this extensive bamboo walkway above rice paddy fields. Walking along the path which leads to a remote and charming temple was a tranquil meditative experience and quite different from anything we have seen before. Whilst there were other tourists here, it wasn't overcrowded and the experience felt genuine as I understand the pathway is primarily used to connect the temple to the local village so the monks can receive daily alms offerings.

Such a wonderful and soothing experience.
Wondering 800 or so MTRS of elevated and hand constructed Bamboo bridge.
Stroll at your own pace above the rice paddies and right next to the grazing water Buffalo.
At the end of the Bridge sits a beautiful Buddhist Monastery that stretches way up into the Mountain.
We were lucky enough to meet one of the Monks who showed us around and explained more about their way of life
This is a must do for PAI and only 30 BAHT per person

Super beautiful and a great walk through the rice fields. Walk all the way to the temple, it’s a unique temple in the middle of the woods. Im happy we went. The views along the road were great too

Pai is not just about partying. If you look closely and spend more time exploring the areas around Pai.
Must do. Had a great time walking about 10 minutes in one direction. Couldn't take a full round but covered a massive portion of the bridge.
Rickety and old with a sturdy feel. It's fun to walk and if you have kids they will definitely go crazy, in a good way.
The road can be a bit tedious but easy navigable by car, bike, scooter or if you're up for it a long hike.

Bonito paseo entre arrozales, el paseo por el puente te lleva a un pequeño templo, el atardecer es precioso y puedes descansar en pequeñas cabañas que hay.

We both thought this place was absolutely epic. A really relaxing walk where you can get plenty of sun and also get a great dose of culture. It really feels like another world and you can take some quality pictures too.

The proprietor of our cabin - Pai Homey - recommended a driver to us and he took us around for a good part of a day to see the bridge as well as the giant Buddha and the land split. It was inexpensive and a nice way to see sights close to town. We did see people renting motor bikes to visit some of the same places but didn't feel we knew the area well enough to do that.
