Less crowded and serene.. ideal for honeymooners, couple, girls.. beach beds with sun umbrellas are priced at 200rs, unlimited period... we rented them after checking out from our hotel, to spend some time on the beach instead of sitting in hotel lobby to kill 5hours..

One of the calm beaches of North Goa. If you want happening atmosphere of North Goa, but peace of South Goa, this is the place for you. A lot of decent beach side shacks, serving surprisingly good food. A walk on the beach and breeze will take off all your stress for sure, especially towards senquirine beach. You can walk to lower Agauda fort from there.

The beach was nice since it’s nature and I appreciate nature. However, too many people mainly you’ll see mostly locals there, very dirty, not maintained properly and litters are everywhere. We had a good time there (me and my friends). The people there who were selling things and all, they were working very hard and appreciate their enthusiasm. It’s also a must visit budget friendly place for tourists staying in Goa.

A peaceful beach in North Goa when compared to Calangute or Bagga. Try walking toward the Sinquerim Beach, this portion is relatively peaceful and less commercial stuff.
Beware of Dogs, packs of street dogs wandering and often target small kids. We saw one dog biting a one year old who was playing along and was hardly 10 mtrs from his parents. Luckily nothing happened as many people nearby rushed to help.
Sunsets are quite amazing from Goa and can be seen from here as well.

This beach enjoys fierce waves . Bathing is not advisable here. On the days when the sea is calm one can spot a lot of dolphins. The ferries charge somewhere around 3000 rupees for an half an hour ride which includes dolphin sighting. It's a very clean beach.

We reached here at the very start of the tourist season. The beach was beautiful and with comparatively lesser crowds than other beaches. The sunset was a sight to behold.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves although we missed the experience of the shacks as they were not operational. A comfortable distance from our hotel, Candolim has been our favorite beach destination for the past many years

नमस्कार दोस्तो , बैसे तो गोआ में हज़ारो बीच हैं पर कुछ बीच ऐशे हैं जहां क्राउड बहुत जाता हैं उसमें से एक हैं कैंडोलिम बीच यहां आप ओफ़ सीजन हो या ऑन यहां आप भीड़ पा ही जायेंगे ,कपल के लिए यह बीच किसी fairytale जैसा है हैं जहां आपको सब मिल जाता हैं अकेले हैं तो शायद आप खुद से भी मिल सकते हैं जिसे अक्सर लोग मिलना पसंद नही करते 🤣बाकी आप खुद आए और एक्सपेरिंस कीजिये यहां की हॉस्पिटैलिटी को और शेयर करे अपने यादगार पल सबके साथ 🙏

A better beach here. Comparatively neater and best parking facility around. We visited during the rains, so couldn't see any shacks. Still, it is very good for a peaceful morning walk.

Relatively uncrowded compared to nearby Baga or Calungate, it offers a peaceful place early in the mornings. Some beach shacks offer tea and massages even at 630 AM. Great for a peaceful morning stroll, freshened by the sea breeze. De-stress here. We stayed at the Lemontree Amarante Beach Resort, a five minute walk leads to the beach. Watch out for stray dogs on the way though. Some dramatic views in the monsoon. If you are willing to brave a bit of rain, this place is great in the monsoon.

I am planning to visit the Candolim beach and I am coming from Pune via bus. So which is the nearest bus stop where I get down to reach the beach.

Hi, I haven't been at this time of year as it is generally the monsoon season and wet. The beach shacks are not running. I don't use the casino's so can't help you there. Sorry, I'm not much help. The people will be as charming as they always are I expect. Have a good time.

I've just got back from Goa and I stayed in the Fiesta Resort Hotel on Baga Beach. I would not recommend this place as it is very, very loud even inside the rooms as the noise starts around 4/5pm and does not stop until 3am. I would avoid any hotels around Titos lane as there is no noise control in Goa around the Baga Beach area. I would recommend you find a quieter hotel near Candolim as it's more peaceful but at the same time there is still a pleasant holiday vibe and the beach is also less crowded. Baga/Calangute beaches are very crowded. The one good place to eat is Britto's on Baga Beach - great food and atmosphere. Another place that I loved was Sagar Vegetariam Family Restaurant (off Tito's Lane) for more authentic south indian food - this place is very cheap too as a meal will cost around £5.

Brittos is an excellent place to eat on the seafront on Baga Beach (not too far from Candolim Beach) :)

Hey.. Most of the time you will be on beach (sand) so Pram will be of no use. What I suggest that keep your kid in your lap all the time.
Hi we are planning to visit Goa in between 23 dec to 26 dec.is Calangute beach is crowded at that time of period? which time is best in day to visit Calangute beach for less crowd, morning or evening?

23RD TO 26 TH dec is the prime time in Goa. So it will be crowded throughout the day. But comparatively morning is less crowded.

Yes! Candolim is in North Goa.
Depends on what you wish to do really. Some get bored since they expect Goa to be Delhi. Others love the feel of the quieter monsoon days. Some want to drown in the water knowing it is not allowed and others respect Mother Nature! Some want to do water sports in monsoons which they are dumb enough to expect in monsoons.
Fort Aguada lighthouse is just 4Km away other than many popular restaurants and night clubs/pubs. It is also centrally located from where other beaches and areas are within reasonable distance. Being close to Panjim is another advantage here.
