This winter of 2020 was our fourth spent mainly on Talpona Beach. And every day we ate in Texas Restaurant. A friendly family run establishment, feet in the sand, view forever of the Arabian Sea, delicious food, wide choice of drinks... The fish, fresh daily, is prepared with skill and care and cooked to perfection: Crab Masala, Jacques' favourite and mine Prawn Sukka ... A good mixture of locals and visitors relaxing and enjoying the hospitality of Tulsi and Nutan Komerpant and their family of whom young Tanish is the youngest member... (see photos)

Awesome beach no one around 2 bars & massive long peaceful lovely beach, this is what Palolem & Patnem used to be like, get a scooter out for the day & get here you won’t regret it. Both bars / restaurants are different but great proper old school Goa or modern English run good quality drinks & food but more expensive it’s your choice.

We stayed in a house on the beach for the weekend. The seclusion and lack of noise is perfect. You won't find beach beds or hawkers here. There were hardly 20 people along the entire stretch of beach. There are only 3 shacks that serve reasonably priced local food, some with tastes that take a bit to get used to. The beach is clean, the water clear, and the local dogs really friendly. Swim towards the middle of the beach because there are hidden rocks near the Northern section. We actually swam there but only saw the rocks later when the tide was low. Still pretty safe!

Talpona Beach is all the way down south in Goa. It is a very quiet, secluded and clean beach situated in the Cancona Taluka in South Goa. Talpona is highly recommended for people seeking complete isolation and peace.
The untouched and pristine beach of Talpona is only about 1 kilometer long. The sea is turquoise blue and the sand velvety. There are no boats on the beach and very few or absolutely no people on the beach. On a very busy day, you’ll see about 30 people on the beach. There is a life guard cabin on the beach and the beach is very safe.
The Talpona River is very close to the Talpona beach and it is said that the Talpona River joins the Arabian Sea here.
Some of the other closeby beaches are the Rajbagh Beach, Galgibaga Beach and the popular tourist beach Palolem Beach.
South Goa in general doesn’t not have many tourists and Talpona Beach, which is at the south most end, gets very few tourists. Hence it’s an unspoiled, undiscovered gem of South Goa, which is what I loved about this place.
There are only a few Resorts and restaurants near the beach. No beach shacks at all.
I have stayed at the Neelchands Resort, so I can vouch for them. The other resorts are Matoshri Huts and Peace Garden. There is a good local restaurant called Deepshika.
The overall vibe of Talpona is very simple and basic. The closeby Talpona village is a really nice place to just walk around and interact with locals. I went for a run around the village and it was a great experience. It’s amazing to inhale the fresh air, eat fresh fish and live like a local.
There are many dogs on the beach of Talpona and they all are extremely friendly and not at all a nuisance. You’ll also see a lot of cows too.
You can sit for hours on the Talpona Beach and watch the waves. I saw some of my favourite sunsets on this beach.
The extreme end of the beach has rocks, that you can climb and go up a small hill (if you’re feeling a little adventurous).
Getting to Talpona:
Airport to Talpona Beach is about 1 hour 40 mins and will cost you about Rs. 1800 one way.
Once in Talpona, you can hire a scooter for about Rs. 300 and explore away.
I am so glad I discovered this pristine little beach. It is one of the best beaches I have been in Goa. Even though you are completely disconnected from the world, you’re just a 30 mins bike ride away from Palolem, which is the party place of South Goa.
If you need a break from you hectic life and are craving some alone time or couple time at a beautiful and secluded place in South Goa, head to Talpona.

We visit here on a regular basis. The beach is tranquil and with few visitors. No sunbeds and a few shacks deepshika is probably the best. Enjoy the beach but beware recently some of the sand has been cut away to form a 1 1/2 metre drop

Ничего примечательного. На берегу никакой инфраструктуры, поэтому и на пляже пустынно. Сейчас через р. Тальпона строится мост и автодорога.

we went here once.the beach was calm and peaceful.no noise,nothing.the fishing betty was also a nice place to sit.we crossed the river via boat in South end of patnem beach and reached this beach.the beach was awesome.only one or two restaurant there but food was good.dont remember the name.

Another reason why i spend a month in south goa. a hidden unspoilt beach . Not costly shacks , no beach umbrellas , no crowd , . whenever i go there has never been more than 10 people here . good place for ppl who love to spend time in silence.

quite simply if you haven't visited this beach your missing out :) there were days when i counted 10 people on the beach and that was unusual , this destination is for those who truly want to get away , someplace where your wifi wont work and your happy about that . I just can't wait to return .
