my favorite is the key lime bbq sauce.....great on wings!!! and the only place that offers that flavor!

You have to try this at least once and do not chicken out because it might be too hot. Try the stuff and sweat a little.

This is a really fun place to stop in and shop! The staff was friendly and did not pressure us too much when trying samples. They were able to guide us to what we would like. It's fun to go around and try some stuff and read all the labels and concoctions!

Lover of hot sauce, this was my paradise. There are so many sauces available, with samples of most everything. Even if you do not like hot sauce they have some sweet ones as well, such as cinnamon, peach. mango. etc. Or just stop by and read some of the silly names of the labels. Staff very friendly.

Our son asked for hot sauce as a treat from our beach trip. He was specific in the flavor he wanted.
I walked in and asked at the counter for the specific flavor, rather than taking time to search through the extensive selections. The clerk quickly went right to the spot and brought back the bottle. I paid and was out in 5 minutes or less! Great service!
I did not sample the tasting bar, but saw that they are willing to let customers try the products available. We did not explore as we are not the pepper heads in the family and just wanted the particular item, but if you enjoy such, there is a huge inventory to check out in a small place.
Our son said they make their own blends of sauce and what he got is HOT, and he loves it.

I went in and asked the gentleman at the counter to help me pick out some hot sauce for my father as a present from our trip. He was so helpful and nice and even helped me out with a promotion to get myself two bottles of hot sauce to bring back to Michigan. My dad is in love with them and now wants me to order more, Very large selection of hot sauces, salsa and spices. I hope the gentleman working there and sees this because I really appreciated his help with picking out hot sauce and informing me of the promotion. Thank you!

Albert helped make our trip to Pepper Palace very exciting and fun, and we ended up very happy with our purchases. He let us try some samples of hot sauce and hot jerky, and we all had a great time watching each other hilariously suffer through the heat. We definitely recommend this amazing place

If you like spice and especially if you like your hot sauce this place is a must see. This very cool shop has a ton of spicy food items , ranging in heat from wussey mild enough to a near-death experience. I mean that seriously because I learned my lesson the hard way....
[side story] Years ago while I was making my usual shopping, on the way outta town, and stroll at the French Market in New Orleans this happened ... I came across a neat little spot that carried a bunch of cool hot sauces and there was some popcorn available to dip into various sauces to sample. Now I love my hot sauce and hot is not a problem and yes there was a warning on the one particular type of sauce that I had never heard of and I wasn't cocky or cute so I took a single kernel of popcorn and dipped it maybe half way and hooooollllyyyyyy craaaaaaaaaappppp!! I am not exaggerating when I say that I thought I was going to die because I couldn't catch my breath for what seemed to be a really long time. I'm pretty blind from the tears, sweat flying and I'm doing a serious daffy duck up and down and around the aisles and out into the street. Choking and chugging water, ice and multiple popsicles for about ten minutes while my very sweet was doing a pretty good job of not laughing hysterically. Soooooo needless to say after embarrassingly surviving that I came away knowing that I woudn't being doing that again :-) [end of side story]
Back to this hot spot, so there's a super selection of sauces of all temperatures as well as a nice assortment of salsas and dips. Most of the products are available for sampling except for a few of the more expensive specialty sauces. Seriously if you see something that's not already open, the super friendly folks will open it for you. Everybody that has helped me here from general help to the owner has been enthusiastically helpful and given me good info on the products, plus they have sampled everything so I have gotten some good recommendations. Seriously you can get a great education about everything pepper if you are curious like me.
Its in the wharf on the shopping main drag so there's street and garage parking or you can opt for the parking lot. There's other cool places to browse, like the jerky place and it's always nice to grab a bite by the boats.
I almost always get bottles for friends and family which may or may not make it to their destinations:-) So whether you just want to spice up your omelet or have the right stuff for cooking or that crab boil you can find it here. Highly recommended!!

This place has a most excellent selection of salsas, sauces, glazes, etc. I have been in places that had more, but they were overwhelming... and this place was run by the friendliest clerk you’ll ever find... and had a more than adequate selection. The prices were reasonable.
