We kwamen toevallig langs dit museum en het is een bezoekje waard. Twee hangaars propvol vliegtuigen en helicopters, vooral veel klassiekers in een goede conditie. Helaas niet luchtwaardig, een vliegtuig hoort te vliegen... maar snap uiteraard dat dit niet mogelijk is. Het museum is maar 2 uur per dag open dus goed plannen!
De supposten waren zeer enthousiast en vertelde graag over de vliegtuigen, bij ieder vliegtuig ook een mooie uitleg over de historie van het desbetreffende vliegtuig.
Al met al de moeite van het bezoeken waard.

A lot of awesome aircraft. Very friendly staff. Cool with a couple of cockpits to go in. Very well laid out 10/10 will come back

It is, simply awesome. Nice to see A M Y again shame it can't fly any more. So, come on every one, get in behind getting her airborne again, it is totally possible and worth it. I will join up and work with the trust to achieve this. So come on, JUST DO IT.

These volunteers have achieved a museum well worth visiting. For anyone aviation interested, there is an amazing collection of aircraft. The museum is well laid out and easy to move around, and with individual explanations.

A very interesting and impressive display of civilian and military aircraft. Fantastic value for money. Informative and enthusiastic staff. Every bit as good as Pearl Harbour Museum, Wigram Air force Museum and USS Midway Carrier Museum in San Diego.

An essential stop for aviation fans. Very inexpensive and has a diverse collection of planes that can be inspected at close quarters. Really enjoyed our visit

This place is a must for anyone, old or young. Aircraft are such a big part of NZ history & I’m sure everyone has a connection to them somehow. The volunteers that have meticulously restored so many plains, helicopters and even a control tower are happy to share their knowledge & experiences. A truly fascinating place. It’s at the Airport, so you can’t miss it!

After locating open hours, we arrived to be greated by friendly entheusiastic volly staff.
they gave us a rundown on where, what, why for thier site.
the displays were accessable, open and also interactive.

this museum is a diamond given its small size, but packs a punch. hats off to the place
