The activities available are really good. The first day we went, there were family fun organisers, who had games for families to take part in. They took the time to teach us Kubb - which was really good fun. There are more activities that I can't probably remember, but we did play the crazy golf (very good fun). We also did the pedal karts - be warned the four seaters (with 2 pedalling) is very much hard work. Much better to book the individual ones. Pedalos - always good fun, and the children could jump off the back.
I would say though, it is a man-made lakeside beach, and it's not the cleanest. The water had floating green lumps, which I think was algae, but I'm not sure. We decided not to swim in that, and let the children jump into the more central water in the middle off the pedalos. The beach is also very pebbly as opposed to sandy. Not many toilets either, and these 2 reasons is why I can't give it a 5, which is a shame, because there really is a lot of fun to be had there.

We visited for the lake, hoping to hire canoes etc. Although we didn't visit the leisure center itself, we did enjoy the lake by the beach, swimming in the lake, the cafe/bar and the really inexpensive hire of stand up paddle boards and kayaks.
It was popular on the day we visited, and we would like to go back and try the walk around the lake, and see what else is there.
