What a treat! A great experience, very knowledgable guides and they know the best spots. We say seals and a pod of dolphins. Such fun and a beautiful trip around the coast of Cornwall

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. It is lovely to hear about our crew. Our guides work incredibly hard to keep the knowledgeable up to date for the marine life we get to see. They have all got a background in Marine biology or similar degrees. We try our very best to find as much as possible for everyone in the time we have. We are glad you had a good time with us and we hope you will join us again.

We arrived early, were checked in and given both Waterproof tops and trousers. Then there was a life jacket demonstration. Once sat on the boat the tour was informative and interactive. We saw seals and common dolphins which was amazing. The tour was very respectful to the animals. It was a great couple of hours.

We really try and make our trips more than just any old trip and want to help educate the public about our wonderful wildlife we are so lucky to have on our doorstep. We had a great experience with the team at Padstow Sealife Safaris, they showed there experience in spotting sealife to see and giving us loads of fascinating information about the sealife. The boats were great and as we had a calm day it was really pleasant and we stayed dry. However the waterproof kit provided really helped from wind chill and kept us warm. We were lucky in that we got to see a common dolphin pod around our boat which was really special, we also saw grey seals and oyster catchers. Would recommend!

You are right about the waterproof layers. We say you can never have too many layers on while out on the boat, as that wind can get you very cold as we search across the bay at speed. This was our 2nd time on the sealife safari and it never fails to deliver a very exciting experience and lots of wildlife to spot aswell! The boat is very fast and in autumn when there's a bit of a swell it's one he'll of a ride! And being able to bring our dog on board is very handy to! There's lots of opportunities to see various marine life along the way! And the crew are amazing very experienced! I highly recommend this trip!

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. It is lovely to hear that you had a good time with us and that you are a returning customer! We do allow small to medium sized dogs on the boat but it is worth considering that we are a fast and bouncy boat so not all dogs like it. It is up to the owner if they feel their dog will be okay coming on board. Thank you for recommending us, it means a lot. We hope to see you again in the future.

Absolutely wonderful trip from the moment we were greeted at the booking in site to the time we stepped back on terra firma , our guide ( Emily ) and captain ( Steve ) were very knowledgeable , the sights we saw were out of this world we came upon a huge pod of dolphins that entertained us around the boat for what seeemed like forever , totally worth every penny

Having skippered wildlife safaris myself before, I know there is no guarantee of what you might see, but I wanted my 9 year old daughter to have a great experience at sea. We headed out over the Doom bar, and immediately the exhilaration was evident, the ride exciting, but gentle. in 2 hours we visited so many places and covered so much ground, From Padstow to Trevone, The Mouls island and Port Isaac, and the skippers and guides expertly found seals, an incredible pod of Dolphins, and a sunfish too. This was all interspersed with so much fascinating information about the landscape and wildlife of Cornwall from our guide Ellen. Definitely one of the highlights of the holiday, and the4 best way to experience the rugged landscape and breathtaking beauty of Cornwall from a different perspective.

We had such a lovely afternoon in the sunshine with Kelsey and Gareth yesterday! We saw some seals, cormorants and dolphins and even though my cousin was feeling sea sick, it was such an amazing trip. Kelsey was so good with everyone, pointing things out and giving little history points along the way. Even if we hadn't seen any wildlife at all, it still would have been a wonderful boat trip!

Very well organized company. Equipment in very good shape. With the 3-hour tour we had hoped for a little more wildlife. We found dolphins, which was great. Otherwise, unfortunately, there was not much going on. Unfortunately. But I guess that's nature. I don't know if anything else would have been possible.

Fantastic trip 1hour boat ride around the bays. Hit jackpot and saw 10+ dolphin's and even some seals.
The skipper Mark and wild life guide Emily were very professional and we felt extremely safe with them with our 3 young children.
It's a must do while padstow

Hi there, we did the 1 hour safari a couple of years ago and looking at the 2 hour one for this summer. Youngest is now 5, is that age ok? He enjoyed the ride last time. Many thanks.

RIBs tend not to make passengers sick as they sit low to the water and have less of a rocking sensation than other types of boats. However, some people are more prone to seasickness and can be affected, especially on a choppy day. If you have any concerns and are prone to seasickness, I would recommend taking seasickness tablets an hour before your trip. Before or after lunch shouldn't make too much difference. I hope this helps.

I'm coming to Padstow next week alone but with my small dog is there anywhere to leave him or can he come on the boat with me?

Hi there. Well behaved small to medium sized dogs are permitted on our boats, however, often dogs do not like the sensation of being on a bouncy boat so it is worth taking into consideration whether the dog would be ok with it or not. If there is going to be someone in the office who is happy to keep an eye on your dog then you may be able to leave the dog with us but give us a call ahead of time to check that there will be someone here.

We will be going to Padstow for the day from Falmouth end of June. We are 6 adults and 2 kids, aged 3 and 6 years old. The kids haven't been out on sea very much. Worried they might find it too rough. What is your experience? Thanks.

We welcome kids from age 2 and up, however, all kids react differently on the boat. Most kids love it, but some are not so sure. Every day is different conditions-wise and everyone's experience may be different. It is the Atlantic Ocean so it can get lively but we do have calm days too. Perhaps give us a call a few days in advance and we can advise the calmest day for you to book, or, if the case may be, advise if it may be a bit too wild for the little ones. Best bet is to usually look for a day with low wind, but if you need any further advice, don't hesitate to get in touch. Padstow Sealife Safaris

The 2 hour Sealife Safari is £39 per adult. We also have the 1 hour Seals Cave Experience for £22.50 per adult. If you contact us by email (link on our Trip Advisor page) we can arrange purchase of a voucher to be redeemed at any available time within the next year.
