Mahaki’s perfection begins at the open-air office (to the right of the Cruz Verde pharmacy).
Roberto supplies every option you require, including hotel pick-up/drop off for each tour.
The guides tell you more detailed history than some operators and visit hidden spots of great relevance.
Explanations in English are followed by your free lessons in Spanish! Great added value!
I highly recommend both the all-day tour of the Maoi, with lunch and a swim at Anakena… AND the half-day tour up the Rano Kau volcano, investigating the mystical “Birdman” cult of Orongo.

We searched for information about guides in the official association and they passed on Daniela's contact (Mahaki Tour).
We had 4 full days on the island and wanted to make the most of it, in addition to the moai we wanted to see the caves and ascend to the Terevaka volcano. Daniela gave us all the facilities to fit all the excursions. Before contracting with her we already passed the detailed program and was totally clear with the prices. Given the previous Good Impression, we were clear that she would be our Guide.
It was quite a hit. Daniela is absolutely lovely and attentive. He also knows the island and its history like no one else. Before going, we had read the latest published texts about the island and we could see that it is absolutely up to date and also knew them.
Other guides also work with her, Mahitu and Jaime, also great.
In addition, we were fortunate that in our small group we matched other great travelers with whom we met wonderfully.

Before making the trip, we quoted several agencies, Daniela was the only one that sent us a document with details of the places, schedules, values, etc. He also helped us with tips for the trip that were really useful during our stay. Once there it was super flexible with our requirements and schedules, the guides Bruno Hernán were super friendly, very dedicated and knew the places with their scientific basis and also the oral tradition. They even took the time to take pictures of us. We recommend the agency, we had three fully packed days, and they were truly amazing, everything we saw was 100% worth it... a thousand thanks to Daniela and her team!!!

Pleasant days with Daniela, very punctual, she recognizes every corner of the island, very clear when telling the history and the mystique of this beautiful place. Daniela loves her job and provides a unique experience. 100% recommended

Daniela's attention as a guide was undoubtedly exceptional. She tells wonderful stories, is very prepared and knows extensively the history of the island and all the places of interest. We went with small children, the whole time I was worried that they would be interested in her story and everything was very at their own pace. In general, all the guides who work with her are concerned and friendly. A great success if you plan to visit the island. Daniela is very responsible, punctual, she answers all questions already in the planning stage, I contacted several agencies before coming, but she was the only one who gave me confidence and I have no regrets. We return with priceless memories. A plus for all foreigners: Daniela speaks super fluent English.

We were not wrong choosing Daniela as a guide for our tours around the island. Full of knowledge, it is a pleasure to listen to her talk about the Rapa Nui culture, its history and monuments. Super helpful, he picked us up next to where we were staying and everything was magnificent. Exquisite and personalized treatment, do not hesitate to hire their services.

Daniela fue una excelente guía- se nota mucho la pasión con la que cuenta las cosas y ayuda a dar perspectiva a las cosas tanto desde el punto de vista local como el del continente. Daniela fue increíblemente amable con la forma en que se organizó el tour, fui con mis padres (3ra edad) y mi madre tiene dificultades de movidad, Daniela se aseguró que pudiera hacer todo el tour de una manera cómoda y fácil.

I can only recommend going on a tour with Daniela. Ideally book her privately instead of going with a group because then the day of sightseeing turns into a conversation instead of a monologue held by a guide. It was easy to communicate with her via Whatsapp and her prices still seem in the ok area versus other tour companies which already charge a fortune. And if you are lucky you might get some homegrown bananas or a homemade pumpkin cake to taste. I suggest booking a guide for 2 days because it helps a lot to understand the island and its history. Apart from that just hire a scooter/bike/car and explore for yourself.
