While we waited on a table we went to the bar to get some drinks. We didn’t have a beer menu so I asked the bartender if there was any pale ales, he said no so I got a margarita (it was gross). Imagine my surprise when we got seated and finally had a menu that there was two pale ales on there.
I ordered the fish and chips with the garlic waffle fries and my fiancé got the fish sandwich with regular fries. Our fish was over cooked and the garlic fries would of been great if maybe the garlic was minced. Some fries were great but some had chunks of garlic that was hidden by the cheese and when I started chewing I would be overwhelmed by the garlic. My dish wasn’t served with with lemons, I had to ask for some.
The area we sat in had a great view of a garden, but was dated.
Our server Amanda was wonderful, she checked on us several times even though she was obviously very busy.

The servers were great, clam chowder ok, but the garlic truffle fries? Not much. Frozen orange seasoned waffle fries seasoned again with truffle oil, garlic and Parmesan? Stick to one season palate. Waste of 12 bucks.

We were visiting the north coast and decided to drive to Fort Bragg for the day. Was really happy we did! North Coast Brewing was setup with both indoor and outdoor dining. We had the fish and chips and it was so yummy! The house made beer batter on the fish and huge shrimp was amazing! The service was Great! Will definitely come back if/when in the area again!

We made a quick introductory stop to North Coast Brewing to sample a flight of their craft beers. There was about a 15 minute wait to enter and we asked to sit outside under their COVID-19 tent.
I was a “newbie”. I selected four: Scrimshaw Pilsner, Red Seal Ale, Old Stock Ale and Old Rasputin Stout. The Red Seal Ale was very good but the Old Rasputin was absolutely marvelous! The garlic fries are a good munchie option.

We ordered the bar burger and the fish and chips. The burger was good. The fish was really good, but didn't like the batter they used. We did enjoy the beer, as you would expect!

They are limited with outside tables now so need a reservation to get in. Bring a hat or jacket since may be directly in sun or the cold. Have to order a “bona fide” meal, per local regs, to get a drink. The pork chili and the bean burger were excellent. The beer sampler was great to share.

We are always surprised and happy with the food. The portions are so large and don’t cost a whole lot. Our favorite is the nachos!

The Sequoia Room at North Coast Brewery is such an amazing experience. They bring in jazz acts that are world renowned! We make the trip from Sonoma County really often because the whole experience is a blast! The quality of music in this small venue is really impressive! In looking at their upcoming calendar, I'm seeing a lot of local acts. I hope that's not a sign of things to come. Although I respect local musicians, it's nothing like seeing the acts I've seen in the past - Terrell Stafford, Lynne Ariale, etc. I hope to see more of them in the future and return to North Coast Brewery and the Fort Bragg area.

We sat at the bar and had great service from the bartender who had her first day back after 8 months and had to deal with busy place and computer system that was down.
We had some terrific IPAs and ordered a pizza that did not have mozzarella on the menu description. When it arrived it had loads of mozza but they took it back and made us a perfect one. They were very apologetic and even comped us the beer to make up for the wait. They went above and beyond. Now we want to find their beers in a store but have not been able to, guess we will be back there.

We ate here for dinner on a Saturday night. The food was very good and the portions big. Service was a bit slow; don't think it was because of the day of the week (Saturday) but it may have been because we were seated in the bar area. We didn't request it; just luck of the draw I suppose. Prices were reasonable as well.
