Lots of walking=miles, long lines for food...Lemonade $16 and $13 pretzel w/cheese.
I would rather stay home and live stream event on TV, unless you have mucho dinero to pay for VIP seating. I'm just not a big country fan. You have to like crowds and enjoy lots of walking if you want to attend this event,

Don’t ever pay for VIP, not worth it! I’m so disappointed. The lines are extremely long, restrooms are extremely far, and I felt like the staff treated us like we were a pile of ***t.

Huge music festivals like this may not be for everyone. The great news is that for those who don’t want to attend in person there is a live stream available on You Tube. On the other hand attending the three day live was epic. Country music fans are a different sort. I didn’t observe any issues and felt very comfortable attending. While it’s a challenge to get anywhere near the “Mane stage” the huge video screens and sound system was exceptional. Admittedly, the cost of beer and food was on the high end. If you’re to make a purchase, you will need to crack open the wallet. At least the water for sale was only $2 per bottle which I thought was fair. I would have liked not to wait in line so long at many of the food stands, there is just that many people there to feed. The bus transfers from town to and from the festival extremely organized and timely. Wrist bands made entering extremely easy. ID checks were required to by alcohol and you needed a separate wrist band each day. Sort of inconvenient but the lines were short. All in all I had a blast. I’m really glad to have attended in person. Hard to explain but maybe the best term is that it was all about the “Vibe”.

We went to stagecoach 2019 concert we paid a fortune for the “VIP EXPERIENCE” got the tents & corral seating. And all I’m saying there was nothing vip about it.
First they advertise the tents are air conditioned, they are not. They have a portable mister fan. It doesn’t cool your tent at all.
Second It leaks water which attracts ants and then the ants crawl all over the bed.
Third the floor is plywood so you get splinters.
Fourth vip corral seating are little tiny folding beach chairs low to the ground and zero elbow room.
Fifth you can’t see the stage for the giant pit area in front of you. So yes you can sit but no stage view so you just end up watching the big screen.
So if you do decide to go just get general admission.
And stay at a local hotel for comfort and pre-hire a driver in advance.
Uber & lift was a 2 hour wait and 200. Dollars to go 7 miles each way.

It was a great experience. Great performances. Everyone behaved and great friends all around. Free food and drinks abound.

3 million plastic cups gone to waste - no outside reusable water bottles were allowed so forced to use a one-and-done plastic cup killing our environment. They would not even let you refill your existing plastic cup.
Sound quality was really bad - been to stagecoach many times and this year it was terrible. Screens were on terrible delay and the sound was awful on most acts. Not fair to the artists who work so hard and for many this was their big break.
Bud and Bud Light - come on - how much did Bud pay for this - I would have paid an extra $50 for my pass to get real beer choices. There was one beer tent on the far side that had choice but the lines were over 30 minutes long.
No technology - wristbands should be link to credit card so you can just pay with wristband. All the festivals have this. Also they don't allow you to leave and re-enter because they said the technology does not allow it. So 100+ degree weather from noon to midnight with no opportunity to go back to hotel to refresh.

We had VIP tickets to Stagecoach this year. The event makes 120M a year and needs improvement.
Music and the production was amazing. No issues with the performances and production. Ran on schedule, no issues.
The food selection is disgusting and overpriced. You pick a location based on the sign, which is often wrong. For example you go to a location that says they have curly fries. You try to order curly fries and they say we don’t have that. Ok we will take a grilled cheese. Then you see a kid with no food prep experience try to make a grilled cheese with shredded cheese. I’m surprised the bread wasn’t sitting on the ground. In the end you pay 12 dollars or whatever it was because you have to eat but it’s disgusting. Repeat the same experience 2-3 a day at a different location. It was funny to hear people talk about how bad the food was. It was a bonding experience.
The beer situation is no different. I have no problem paying 10 dollars for a beer but I do have a problem paying 10 dollars for a bud light. BUD LIGHT! I guess I should have gotten a craft beer but then I need to wait on another line for liquor.
The amount of NON-VIP people that were let into VIP because the security and staff didn’t care was absurd. I understand that is always going to happen but to just allow people to talk their way through, swipe the wrong band, etc. really makes me wonder why we got VIP. I should have bought GA and just did what everyone else did.
My advice is save your money and go see 13 individual shows in your home town or find an artist at an amazing venue and see them.

I recommend going when the sun goes down. It was uncomfortably hot when we went. Wear a hat, sunglasses and bring a bandana to keep the dirt from blowing into your eyes and mouth when it gets windy. We bought parasols to keep the sun from burning us. I recommend buying the shuttle passes which took us from our hotel to a closer entrance compared to Lyft. We also paid extra for the bikes ($10 per person each way) to take us once we got dropped off by Lyft and the shuttle because it was so hot. The walk was better in the evening. We got VIP passes and that got us front row seats in section K. We got access to the saloon where they serve drinks, have couches and more comfortable seating, a tent for shade, a place to charge your phone and fans (it stopped working when part of the power went out). I liked that we had access to flushing toilets and a sink to wash our hands as opposed to the outhouse. Wear comfortable shoes (I had to buy flip flops at their store because I got a blister)and there’s no re-entry when you leave except for medical reasons and if you have the RV passes. We thought that you could go back to the hotel and come back the same day. There’s a lot of food vendors but I would have preferred to eat elsewhere before coming to the event. There were 80,000 people but it was pretty organized and lots of security. Overall not really my scene.

With so many artists to see over 3 days this is the Best Country Concert you come ups ever attend. Tickets are not cheap but so worth it. If you can go just once it’s definitely a bucket list item. Had a great time. Bring a bandana and sunglasses for when the wind kicks up the dust. Empty water bottle plastic only so you can refill it once inside to stay hydrated is a must. Sunblock but no aerosol cans or you get it taken away.

Amazing time for a friends 40th Birthday. Performances were all amazing. Food was great. Lots of water bottle refill stations to stay hydrated. Some of the shuttle buses smelled like urine but otherwise were fine. Lots of walking which I enjoyed. Bring a bandana and sunglasses even if you only go at night for when the wind picks ups dust. Hand sanitizer a must also. I’m going back next year for sure. Had a blast with my friends.

Hey y’all,
Does anyone know about what time the big headliners go on stage at stagecoach?
I’m trying to make dinner plans with friends, and I was just wondering if getting there to stage coach at 8pm on Friday was ok ? I do have very good reserved seats :)
Thanks for your help

Hi! I camp every year and usually take the any line shuttle. Unfortunately it stopped running to campsites this year. Does anyone have suggestions for other shuttles or if taxis or uber would be possible?

Hi Jeanene,
We are heading to Desert Trip held in the same venue and by the same promoters this month. Do you have any good restaurants you would suggest close, but outside, the polo field? Or in Indio in general? Also, you probably drive there, but we are flying in. How long do you think it will take to drive from the airport? We are staying close to the Polo field.
Cheers
Mary

Jackalope is our favorite restaurant. There are also a few Mexican restaurants closer to the venue, but I do not know their names. As far as the distance from the airport, it depends on the airport you arrive at. If it is Palm Springs, it will be a little less than an hour. If it is Ontario, figure closer to 2 hours depending on traffic.
