QUE NADIE VENGA A ESTAS ISLAS! NO PONGAS TU VIDA NI TU EQUIPAJE EN PELIGRO!
Hola viajeros. Con todo el dolor de mi corazon tengo que abrirme para contar la experiencia que desgraciadamente sufrimos mi amiga y yo en Koh Rong Sanloem y en general en Camboya. Vinimos con muchisima ilusion de disfrutar este pais y conocer a la gente local pero todo se volvió en una pesadilla y solamente queríamos volver sanas y salvas al aeropuerto para volver a nuestra querida Tailandia. El viaje fue horrible, pasamos mucho miedo y ansiedad porque la mayoria de la gente local nos trató como basura, agresivos golpeando y lanzando nuestras maletas, dandoles patadas, conductores poniendo las vidas en peligro de personas conduciendo con los telefonos moviles y los compartimentos llenos de motos, pero lo peor fue en las islas y con los barcod y taxi boats… el barco speed boat llenaron tanto de gente que se hundía y nuestras maletas de ropa y mi mochila con mis cámaras se mojaron (suerte que reaccioné a tiempo y conseguí salvar mis cámaras y lentes), llegamos a la isla y la manera que tienen de sacar el equipaje es tenerte en tension todo el rato y no tienen nada de cuidado (la maleta de mi amiga rota por el trato de todo este gentuzo). En la isla NADIE quiere ayudarte cuando llegas y no tienes NADA de linea telefónica/internet y ni siquiera te ayudan a llamar a tu hotel para que venga a buscarte… se reían de nosotras en el puerto mandándonos de un lado al otro y necesitabamos ir urgentemente al toilet y ni nos dejaron los pedazo de monstruos sin humanidad. Montamos en un taxi boat que ellos nos dijeron y me tiraron mi maleta pequeña llena de electronicos al mar.. mi laptop, cargadores de laptop y drone, disco duro, plancha del pelo, conectores universales y un gimbal para mi telefono quedaron totalmente mojados… esto es por el poco cuidado que tienen al coger el equipaje de la gente, ya que loe Camboyanos en general me han demostrado que son personas que les da todo igual y a los viajeros nos tratan como basura o prisioneros… son unos criminales, te miran como carne de cañon y cuanto mas educado seas peor te tratarán… cada vez que cogíamos un ferry, un taxi boat, un tuk tuk o un bus era un infierno…. No nos sentimos seguras, sobre todo en Koh Rong sin ni siquiera linea de emergencia y con la policia tan corrupta que tienen que te la encuentras meando donde sea, medio desnudos o durmiendo en la comisaria. De verdad, el unico sitio preparado para recibir bien a los viajeros es Siem Reap por los templos de Angkor, y de verdad que tuvimos un tuk tuk driver maravilloso y muy buena gente, pero en cuanto sales de Siem Riep a Phnom Penh o toda la zona de Sihanoukville…. Lo unico que hay es CRIMINALIDAD. No entiendo como pueden pintar a este pais de “seguro” cuando de seguro no tiene nada. Son personas que llevan arrastrando su historia y la masacre de los Jemeres Rojos, pero eso no les da ningun derecho a ser inhumanos con los extranjeros que visitamos su país…. Fue volver a Tailandia y entramos en un bucle de felicidad y paz extrema…. No hay necesidad de viajar y sufrir de esta manera de verdad! No vengáis aqui y no jugaros la vida, porque la criminalidad de verdad que existe, y si te toca alguien verdaderamente criminal e intentas defenderte, pueden sacarte hasta la pistola.

It's what it is. A fast boat to the islands and there are a few different companies. Very lay back and you get to the islands and back. Do your homework. Timetables are made to be broken sometimes but that is travel. If you are looking to complain then get out and do more travel before judgement. We got where we wanted to go and just heaven on a stick. The islands are just spectacular

Fast, efficient and well cooled, this ferry was smooth, quick enough, and had a reassuringly large number of life jackets, assuming the worst case scenario. Recommended

I wanted my wife to have an unforgettable birthday, and Shahin from Speed Ferry Cambodia surely helped me do so!
He organised a beautiful boat tour around Koh Rong, tailored to our wishes. On a private boat, we did snorkeling, fishing, enjoyed the freshly caught fishes cooked on a barbecue, and watched a wonderful sunset from Long Beach with a few glasses of Prosecco... that was perfect :)
(all of that for less than 100USD)
Additionally, Shahin also arranged lovely extras for us, such as a candle light dinner on the beach, a flower bouquet and a birthday cake (difficult to find on the island!).
To sum up, a very professional company with very kind and helpful staff members.
I would definitely recommend!

Never take this company. They rip of your money. I sent email to recive my money back but no answer. Or they answer me to ask to camboticket. No more answer.

AVOID! Happy Boat one way, Garbage Junk return, only saw the "Speed Ferry" with its engine in pieces

We'd read reviews but booked with Speedferry based on the schedule that suited our plans best. The departure was 45 minutes late but that seems par for the course. The frustrating bit was that instead of a speed boat we got the Happy Boat (seen here https://www.tripadvisor.com/AttractionProductReview-g325573-d18973289-Happy_Boat_Tour-Sihanoukville_Sihanoukville_Province.html) which took about 2.5 hours to cross, rather than 45 minutes. We were travelling with young kids and it made for a tiring afternoon.
We confirmed that it would be an actual speed boat for the return, as did our hotel. We arrived at the pier to find a junk loaded with garbage and no life jackets. I didn't want to board but was told this was only to take us to a different pier, given high winds. This was a flat-out lie. This boat took us back to Sihanoukville, arriving at the port rather than Serendipity Pier. We were driving back to Phnom Penh but folks transferring by bus or trying to catch a flight were in a tough spot.
It was only when we arrived back at the port that we saw the actual speed ferry boat, with it's engine disassembled. All reassurances that that would be our boat were blatant lies. We would have rebooked using another service had we been told the truth. I gather that none of the ferry services are ideal but I would strongly advise to pick another one, especially if you want <2 hours transit and a life jacket anywhere on board.

The Speetboat was overloaded with passengers, some needed to stay (on a speedboat) and some needed to seat outside on the back! One of them was me...i got totaly wet, my bag got wet, everything else than pleasant! And I was not the only one! This is very bad service and for the one needed to stand also very dangerous!

Horaires de départ retardés sans préavis,du surbooking, au final, une autre compagnie nous a acheminé pour koh rong Samloen, accueil Déplorable, l'amabilité ce sera pour la semaine des 4 jeudis. Retour vers sihanoukville, retard, et toujourd aussi aimables. Préférez une autre compagnie plus sympa et à l'heure avec des bateaux plus confortables pour le même prix. Le nom commence par un N. Bon voyage pour les prochains touristes

Не понравился сервис. В билете указанное время отправления, которое не соответствует действительности. Так как надо ждать достаточное количество людей (полную загрузку катера) для отправки. Ждали час под жарким солнцем, чтобы отправиться из острова Кох Ронг обратно в Сиануквиль

We don't have any accident until now. Also we never depart without permission especially in bad weather conditions. We keep life jackets for all our passengers on board. In normal technical and weather conditions our service takes 45 minutes between Sihanoukville and islands..
