While visiting Lone Pine during our 2017 Labor Day trip, my boys and I detoured here for a quick stop to stretch our legs, take a look around, and use the restrooms.
This is a smaller neighborhood park but don't let that stop you from a quick visit if you need to get out and stretch or have a picnic lunch. The park has a tennis court basketball court, horseshoe pits, picnic tables, large grassy areas, and a children's play area, Parking is easy and it has both a small parking lot with about 10 spaces and street parking as well. The restrooms are standard public restrooms - you get the idea.
The basketball and tennis courts looks really well maintained although the weekend we were there it was topping out at about 100 degrees so there was no way anyone was using the courts that weekend. There was one other family with small children playing on the kids equipment.
Overall, this is a nice little neighborhood park. I wouldn't necessarily make this a stop as there is so much to do around Lone Pine but it is cute. if you have small children who just want a chance to run around on some playground equipment as a break from hiking or fishing, this is a good stop.
