The Santa Ana Zoo is the perfect place for young families! They have lots of monkeys, a Ferris wheel, a carousel, a train, and a ton of other great animals to see. We have been several times with our one year old daughter, and she loves it.

What a delightful visit, our aunt Bobbie Prentice took us to see the family zoo and what a delightful surprise. Kudos to the team, it was So well manicured, the variety of animals and loved the addition of the butterfly tent. The train & farm section was adorable. Thank you !

A pesar de contar con una colección muy interesante, con varias especies bastante raras, la visita te deja un poco decepcionado. Aunque el entorno es bonito y todo está cuidado, hay muchas instalaciones que son pequeñas, están anticuadas y requieren una reforma urgente, como prácticamente todas las dedicadas a primates. Se ve con bastante rapidez.

I really wanted to like this zoo, but I was disappointed. They are in the middle of construction that will make the park about 40% larger but it was just lacking. It's summer here in CA. and I expected the animals to be lethargic, but it seemed that almost half the animals where gone during construction and just about everything was closed except the gift shop and snack bar. It should be pretty nice in about 3 or 4 months once everything is finished with the remodel

There are barely any animals, just monkeys and a camel. Tons of construction so we hope it gets better.. It is definitely a mellow walk and may be good for small children. Unfortunately, our toddler was more interested in the construction vehicles then the actual animals...

My daughter and I visited the zoo one afternoon in March. I must say we were very disappointed. Half of the zoo were torn up for renovation/upgrade and hardly any animals to see. Monkeys after monkeys. That's about it.
I'd much rather visit OC zoo. We won't be going back.

We have been to zoos around the World on a scale of 1 to 10 this is a better one. I understand that there’s a chili factor to the fact that there are no animals out. Although the zoo is clean there isn’t a thing to see. It’s a good thing I have seen your price at nine dollars a person so I only spent 18 bucks. Period

It’s a small zoo, but is nice for something light. Monkeys are the main stars at this zoo! The giant anteaters are cool too! It’s very nicely shaded though most of the zoo too! A nice zoo for small children with playground and rides.

I love coming to the Satna Ana Zoo and have been doing so my entire life. They work for primate conservation and have a lot of smaller primates: lemurs, tamarins, capuchins. They have seasonal and weekend events and staff have always been sweet and friendly and willing to educate. I did all my anthropology observations here. I think this is a great place to visit in Orange County. They typically do free days for SA residents and they will do discount price tickets after a certain hour in the day. You don't need the entire day to enjoy this zoo, but it is worth your stop for such a low price and unique experience.
