Always a good time at REO! Been here several times and we think it is the perfect fishing setup. Right on the water, outdoor kitchen with everything you need and the accommodations in the home are really nice. It not your average camp.

My three sons and two of their friends chartered a Tuna fishing trip. Rivers End Outfitters provided an amazing, clean and very comfortable lodge to stay in at a reasonable rate. Dana and Chris also stayed next door and provided all the needed items I failed to bring, "rain gear" and "jackets for the children". They also extended our check out time to accomidate our fishing trip, very nice. Would recommend to anyone.

Fishing with Chris Wilson at Rivers End is the best fishing experience in Venice! He knows where the fish are and takes care of all of his guests in their great camps. I have been fishing there for years and you should look no where else!

Just got done spending a few days Fishing and staying with Rivers end Outfitters (REO). Chris and Dana were great hosts and Captain Kyle knew where the fish were. On day one we limited out on Tuna by 10:12 am, and this was for 6 people, so we had 12 yellowfin.
The accommodations were in a very nice house that was well maintained. The best surprise was the Cajun hospitality when 2 platters of our fresh caught tuna were brought to our place. That is what I call going beyond.
The house was only a few steps from the Venice Marina so getting a meal and drinks is very easy, if you don't bring your own. The house had a full very well equipped and modern kitchen.
Venice Louisiana is one of the best places in the U.S. to fish for a wide variety of both inshore and offshore fish. Heck being on the Mississippi River, you can even catch freshwater fish like Largemouth Bass.
I would strongly recommend REO
One note of caution, DO NOT just assume that Venice Marina's fish cleaning and freezing service is trustworthy. While this has nothing to do with REO, if you trust them then trust me, part of your catch will be either misplaced or used for retail purposes.

My visit was for a three day fishing charter with 1 day travel to site, and 1 day return home. A comfortable apartment called a camp goes with your charter. The fishing guide we had was capt. Chris Wilson with his 26' boat powered by a Merc. 350hp motor. The man really knows the area, as he was born and raised there. The fishing was great the entire three day charter, and the four of us were completely satisfied.
