I do not know about weekend hours as we took our tour of the workshop on a Monday. You should book in advance and it is easy to do so by e-mailing John Hardy Workshop at the link on their website. Booking in advance is easy and a good idea since they will pick you up from your local hotel in Ubud and take you back after the tour. There is also an option to join them for their workers and management lunch in the open pavilion which I understand is a great experience. Unfortunately, we were not able to join them for the lunch as the timing did not suit our group's schedule.

I only saw various jewellery for sale and on display. Too bad. The other accessories sound fantastic.

To the best of my knowledge there is not a pick up service. We had our house driver take us. They then called us a cab. So, you could take a cab there and at the end of the tour have them call for one to pick you up.

Yes, it is a very interesting tour to see how the jewelry is made. The employees are fabulous.

Hi, Just ask anyone or look up the factory online. It's about a half hour out of Ubud. I think they like for you to make an appointment but I'm sure if you show up they'll sell you stuff you want. We had a factory tour that was scheduled about a month earlier. If you book ahead you can also have lunch with the workers. The tour was really interesting and then went to the showroom. The saleslady was not happy when we asked about any discounts. You can contact them via email. I'm not sure where your ship is landing (if you're on the cruise). It didn't cost much to go to John Hardy via taxi and there are taxis all over. Way too many. We used Gede Bali Driver. You can see the reviews on TripAdivisor. I was very disappointed with John Hardy. There were no discounts and there wasn't the best selection of items. I like John Hardy items but frankly, I didn't think it was worth the trip.
