Grew up going to this stadium to cheer on my Redskins/Commanders. Lots of memories throughout the years. Might not be the latest and greatest venue to see an NFL game but a great time especially if cheering for home team. Stadium is good for tailgating before the game since lots of parking around stadium. Not bar district or anything outside of stadium. There is a metro station but it’s a decent walk getting to and from stadium. Overall friendly staff workers at stadium as well.

We attended the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders game on December 22nd. I definitely recommend the red zone parking lot for tailgating if you are going for a football game. Entering and exiting the lot before and after game is very quick and easy. It costs a little more for the parking pass, but is well worth the money. The lot is also conveniently located within a short walk of the stadium entrance. Great view of the field from upper level seats.

The reason I give this a two is because how your fans and event staff treated the visiting fans to the ballgame on December 22 against the Eagles. My daughter brought are tickets for Christmas for myself and son. They were rude with jumping in your face and calling all nasty names. Plus it took almost 1 1/2 hour to leave the stadium parking lot. Seats were also not the best to sit and watch a game. This will be the last time I will step foot on this place.

This is the worst professional sports stadium on planet earth. Epic traffic in and out. A ripoff to park. No parking attendants anywhere after entry into lot to direct you. long lines to enter stadium. Tiny bathrooms. Stadium attendants sleeping in bathrooms. Lots of obstructed view seats. Upper deck looks terrible. Watch it on TV

Northwest Stadium now. We went to see the Commanders vs. the Browns. The lady is a lifelong Washington fan and this was my first football game ever. We had a blast. The stadium is comfortable and the prices are decent. (I am comparing them to NY.) Not a whole lot of amenities or food choices, but the staff is friendly.

We paid a good amount for the lower level tickets. What a dump. We could barely see the field, we couldn’t see the scoreboard at all. We had to rely on our phones or other people’s phones to know the game clock, how many yards needed for first down, etc. I’d rather watch from my couch than ever go back here.
On a positive note, we got in and out of the lot very efficiently. The Philadelphia Eagles could learn a thing or two from them on that!

Friends and I attended the Commanders-Eagles game today. Very bad fan experience - even putting aside he usual aggravation of attending a game in which Commanders fans are outnumbered by the invaders from the noerth.
Here are some constructive suggestions for the Commanders organization, and some warnings for fans.
1. Put the recommended entry gate on each ticket. I had no idea which entry into the stadium would be closest to my seats. EASY TO DO. DO IT!!
2. The parking lot ticket says I MUST use Sean Taylor Road to access the GREEN parking lot. The Commander's Game Day website recommends using Waze to navigate to the Green parking lot. However, today Waze told me NOT to use Sean Taylor Road. Get your act together, There is a disconnect here. FIX IT.
3. There are several entrances to the GREEN lot from Sean Taylor rRad. Attendants at the entrances to the GREEN lot had no idea whether parking spots were available down the aisle at which they stood. Why not put attendants at the far ends of the aisles, equipped with radios, to communicate to the attendants along Sean Taylor Road as to whether there are or are not parking spots available down the various aisles?
4. Many, many parking spaces are being hogged by tailgaters who set up chairs, tables and tents that occupy 2-3 spaces per tailgating vehicle. Something should be done about this. Maybe charge a fee to occupy a parking space with a tailgating chair, table or tent?
5. Once inside the stadium we had no idea which way to walk to access our 400-level seats. There were signs directing fans of the lower bowl and the suites, not nothing at all as to which way to walk to access 400-level seats. We wasted 20 minutes walking in one direction through a dense crowd, only to learn that there is no access to 400-level seats in that direction. We had to turn around and retrace our steps, after asking for directions. SIGNS SHOULD BE PLACED DIRECTING FANS ENTERING AT EACH GATE, FOR EVERY LEVEL.
6. Timeouts remaining are important in the waning minutes of each halrf.
The FedEx scoreboard does not have any indication of how many timeouts each team has remaining. FIX THIS. It isn't difficult.
7. Concession lines were ridiculously long. Enough that I decided to forgo the food and beverages. Considering that a beer can cost around $17, I would think the Commanders organization would want to sell as many as they can - not frustrate and turn away fans who want to quickly buy an overpriced beer. C'mon, Josh - do yourself and the fans a favor. Set up more concession places, and hire enough staff to deliver the goods quickly.

Very nice match, beautiful stadium and very big. Friendly employees. Just a bit pricey, over $18 for 700ml of beer. Definitely worth a visit.

Fedex Field is a little worn out. It needs some TLC. Parking is OK. The sightlines for the soccer matches was excellent.

In the 100's section (I will be in 133 row 11), are people allowed to stand in front of you during the game? If is allowed could the staff make an exception and get the person to sit down if you have a leg injury and have a boot/cast on and cant stand for the entire game

Can u get a taxi from union station to FedEx field. I read somewhere DC taxis won't be able to drop you. We are coming by train from new york. Tourists from UK so unfamiliar.

HI, I'm going to a game, I don´t know if I can bring to the game my old jersey? I ask because on the front it has the name redskins, not like the new ones where it says washington. Can I still use it at the stadium?

I am attending the preseason game with the Ravens on 8/29, never been to Fed Ex Stadium...one adult and 2 small boys. Where do I park? And do I only need on "parking" ticket if I were to park on the Orange Lot?

It's a 7:30pm on a Thursday game so depending where you're coming from, getting there may get some traffic. Give yourself plenty of time to get there. You can also try to take the train. But the train can take much longer time.

I’m sure that neither would be a problem. If I remember correctly, depending on where you sit , some seats have soft chairs.

Not going to bother getting there early, Stones won't hit the stage until about 9. I'm not going to leave before 7:00 p.m., so it depends on your plans. Of course, this is my 9th time seeing the Stones, and I'm well familiar with FedEx field.
