Nice mom and pop farm. You aren't paying for the corn maze, petting zoo or the rides, you are going there and paying for apples! We've gone here for years. Always a good experience. A grandpa in front of us with his two small grandchildren offered to pay full price for his half filled bags, but the nice worker only made him pay for one bag instead of two. There were tons of apples this year. A small bag is $15 and holds a peck or about 10 pounds of apples. The apples were slightly smaller than normal but are good quality. Always a good variety at this farm.

Scary because saw very few masks, including the maskless guy who sneezed among the large group of unmasked people picnicking under the covered area and not social distancing near the front area either. The guy directing people into the small parking area wasn’t wearing a mask. Front counter person wasn’t wearing a mask while helping hovering customers also unmasked. Wanted to do u-pick but wasn’t clear where you got the bags and the front area was too crowded to ask with mainly unmasked people (saw 2 customers with masks out of 10 plus without by the pay area)...so didn’t bother to try to do the u-pick because among the smoker in the crowded parking lot (smoking should NOT be allowed in such places in a pandemic) crowds, and sneezing guy it didn’t seem like a covid safe and relaxing place. Masks should be mandatory at least anywhere near the pay and front area unless u are alone in the field... staff should be masked and social distancing should be required. While glad to see the place was popular in these times as we always love farms, BUT if covid safety in terms of crowd control, masks, smoking and distancing is a concern, I would pass in this one. We went on a Saturday so of course that tends to be a popular day.

This is a family place, but some tourists are becoming rude and unfair in their reviews. If the owner says golf carts see not permitted for customers, it's because they have lost 3 of them to reckless guests, who spoiled this for everyone. They still offer a complimentary tractor wagon ride, for all patrons, to help assist them out to the orchard and back. The owner gets a little offended, when he sees kids throw apples. Parents should not allow this. People should use the golden rule in a place like this, behave and be well treated. I'd be a little cranky too, if I was 86, and being told how to run my own farm by some tourist. Relax, enjoy yourself and have a picnic. But please, pay for what you pick. Have actually seen people try to sneak out apples, or fill up eating fruit and not buying anything. That's just wrong. Beautiful place, so please, pick up your trash. Makes it nicer for everyone. We love this place, it will be sad to see it sold one day. I hear the owners want to retire. Enjoy it, while it lasts. And show a little appreciation, for all the owners do, to make this such a lovely place to visit.

My family and I have been coming to this orchard for literally 45 years. I was 6 years old when my widowed father first bought my siblings and I to Twin Maples and we have returned every year since. The prices have gone up yearly and the quality has gone down. The family has hired a bunch of workers and many years we haven't even seen a single person from the owners family. None the less we returned yearly. Partly due to tradition but also because the orchard has golf carts they allow customers to use, especially the elderly or disabled. Well this year, when my 66 year old sister who has a rare blood disorder that saps her engery, asked the owner if there was a cart we coulduse and he ignored her. I didnt know my sister already asked so when I walked over and I asked him explaining my sister's condition. He loudly said the "every one has a broken leg or something else wrong with them". I was embarrassed and appalled. The owner, and yes we are talking about the owner here, then started driving his cart almost hitting both my sister and daughter. Tradition is one thing but not enough of an excuse to be treated that way and pay for overpriced apples. We left and found a new orchard named Spring Hope. This orchard is beautiful, white buildings, flowers benches and best of all, the apple trees are close enough of a walk that my sister didnt need a cart to get to them. And bonus, Spring Hppe has a better selection of apples and other produce and is cheaper.

While visiting the area, we came across Twin Maple Orchards. What a great find! Nice people, excellent strawberries (about as sweet as strawberry jam), wonderful asparagus, and tomatoes! Will definitely be back!

This was a great find and I came across the info on this fresh fruit and vegetable roadside market
while I was at the Farmer's Market in Bridgman, Michigan. The owner was selling her farm fresh
produce and mentioned to me that she also sells fresh breads such a banana, and blueberry,
but had forgotten to bring them. Of course I inquired as to how I might be able to purchase one,
and she informed me she has a farm stand that is open daily, gave me here business card.It
didn't take me long to get on the road and hunt it down and yes the banana bread was delicious
and the selection of fresh produce abounds. The Red Haven peaches are wonderful, and the varieties of apples are great! I highly recommend a stop at this great roadside farm stand!!
