Not recommended, the cheapest in town for a reason. Go somewhere else.
Did the three days 2 nights with them. The owner told me that would have been 1 night in An homestay and the other in the jungle but that I would have met different tribes in different villages ( I was more interested in seeing tribes than in the jungle itself). I trusted him. The guide couldn’t speak english at all, only a basic french. no communication, he was an old experience man and I am sure he knows what he does, but the funny part was 0. After the first day my tour mates left because one of them had a wound I continued by myself with the guide. Asked him to skip the jungle camp and to go some other homestay because I wanted to see the life in the villages. He told me yes but actually brought me to a small village with NOONE, just me and him and an a aged man in his home. We stayed in this place doing nothing since 2 pm to the day after. We had to sleep together ( same “bed”) this hut in a desert village. I was a little bit uncomfortable.
Didn’t like the lack of communication, basically I did nothing for half of my “tour”. The day after I told him that I wanted to come back quickly and I left.
The food, the homestay experience, the Activities...all was reduced at the minimun. Didn’t see any tribe and I had to sleep in the middle of nowhere, alone, with the guide, doing nothing for one entire day.
NOT RECOMMENDED. Spend a little bit more but give yourself a nice experience.

Je ne m'étalerai pas sur le trek et l'arnaque (3h de marche/jour, en dehors du parc national, repas de très mauvaise qualité, pas d'eau fourni, etc, etc). Ils vous font croire que d'autres personnes ont réservé pour vous faire signer, et puis le lendemain on vous dit que vous êtes finalement seul. Ils font ça pour les transports ainsi que les treks proposés.
La chose importante est que cette agence et une autre agence sœur procédant de la même manière font l'objet de très nombreuses plaintes à Luang Namtha. L'office de tourisme, qui n'est pas habitué et n'a pas les moyens pour faire arrêter l'arnaque, cherche par tous les moyens de récupérer les avis des touristes arnaques. ALORS FAITES LE Svp, pour que cela serve aux autres et que l'arnaque subsiste. Ils sont très vicieux y compris dans les réponses données, leur processus est rodé mais commence à être compris maintenant...

Our guide Kam was friendly and spoke English, told us old Laos stories, cooked us dinner in Bamboo which was good, and we stayed in a dilapidated shack. The problem with most tourists is they are expecting way too much. The hike was beautiful, the villages were interesting, and it was a nice two day one night trek around the protected area. We did not do kayaking as if you have half a brain you would understand that it is dry season so low rivers.

Me and a friend choose namtha hill tribe eco trekking as it was the cheapest for 3 days trekking including homestay and jungle night. We ended up doing kayaking on the last day which we were fine with but we were not told about. The guides dis not speak English very well and didn't tell us any information about the village or when we were trekking in the jungle. Actually we barely saw them during the trekking and the first guide would rush ahead and seemed annoyed to have to wait for us. They barely spoke 5 sentences to us for the whole 3 days. As it turns out they didn't take us into the national protected area at all like promised. And during kayaking me and my friend were given a inflatable raft that was deflating badly that we had to shovel water out to keep afloat for the rest of the way. At one point during the kayaking we fell into the water and later we were told by another member on the tour (that was sharing a raft with the guides) that the guides saw us standing in the water and just kept going up the river - instead of helping us out in a tricky situation. Don't choose this tour! We learned nothing about the village, jungle and didn't see any good views. A whole lots of cold, wet and swampy three days...

The owner sold us a tour where we were supposed to meet the Akha tribe, swim in a waterfall, go fishing, cook with a family, make coffee and taught children English. We did none of that, and went to another tribe, the Lhatan one. The trip was good and Kham, the guide, was amazing, telling us many stories and bringing us with the family and children, being the translator. So not that bad but not what we expected.
Moreover, we booked the bus with this agency and were supposed to take a shower there, the owner opened late and then hurried us to the bus station where we finally waited 1hour.

יצאנו לטרק של יומיים עם חברת Elephant trail travel (שמסתבר לי עכשיו מהתגובות פה שהם עובדים ביחד עם חברת Khmmu ועוד כמה).
שאלנו הרבה על המסלול כי ידענו שאנחנו לא רוצות מסלול קשה אלא משהו קליל עם חווית הג׳ונגל והכפרים.
הוסבר לנו כי מדובר במסלול מישורי עם עליה של כחצי שעה בכל יום.
כמו כן, נאמר לנו ש4 מטיילים כבר סגרו את אותו הטרק ולכן המחיר יורד בהתאם. התעניינו מי יהיו השותפים שלנו וקיבלנו פירוט של המוצא שלהם.
בבוקר כשיצאנו גילינו שדבר ממה שנאמר לא נכון- האנשים לא תאמו את הפירוט (וחלקם בכלל סגרו בסוכנות אחרינו) ובנוסף, כל אחד הצטרף למספר ימים שונה.
בהמשך גם גילינו שהמסלול הוא ממש לא מה שהובטח לנו- כל המסלול עליות וירידות תלולות ולא היה רגע של מישור.
בנוסף, המדריך רץ קדימה כל הדרך למרות שכלל הקבוצה ביקשה ממנו מספר פעמים שיאט את הקצב.
מאוכזבות, החלטנו לוותר על היום השני ולחזור כבר בבוקר.
כשהגענו חזרה לסוכנות הסברנו לוואן, האחראי מולו סגרנו, את המצב ואת התחושה ששיקרו לנו ורימו אותנו. בתגובה קיבלנו יחס מזלזל.
הורדתי את שלטי הפירגון הישראלים שתלויים לו על הקיר כדי להראות לו שהם לא רלוונטים מאחר והם מלפני 5-6 שנים, ואותנו הם הטעו.
באותו רגע וואן שלף עליי סכין ואיים שאם לא אעזוב את השלטים אני אאבד את היד!
היו שם עוד 2 עובדים ואישתו של וואן ואף אחד לא עשה כלום באותו רגע.
מדובר בחברה של שקרנים ומסתבר גם מסוכנים! אל תתקרבו למקום הזה!

QUE DU BONHEUR le treck sur 2 jours dans la reserve de luang namtha
un guide laotien qui parle français , une nuit dans un village traditionnel
2 jours suffisent car la jungle devient monotone au bout de 2 jours (manque de point de vue )

Me and my friend decided for one day kayaking and one day trekking trip and it was a great decision. Everything was well organized, the first day when we were kayaking, we made a stop in the village, where no one wanted us to buy souvenirs from them. We played with the kids and had a lot of fun together. Then in the afternoon we arrived to the village, where people were very welcoming. We even drank home-made rice whisky with them. We slept in one of the houses with the family in the village. The next day we went to the jungle for a trekking. The guide knows different routes, so not every trekking is the same. Although our guide was very fast and it was hard to keep up with him, I still enjoyed the trekking. I highly recommend this agency, as they offer good trips for a good price and it's a great experience overall!

When an other agency screwed us over by closing early, not sending us our taxi and likely selling us fake tickets the owner helped us get a new bus and taxi ride for free. Helpful to 2 people in dire need late in the evening. Next time I come back I know they are helpful and trustworthy.

I was not sure about the beauty of Laos until luang namtha, here I found good people, delicious food and the owner of this agency was a real friend, he brought us in small villages to play with his friend football and we did also the kayak trip of one day and was amazing
