Kellie handled our estate sale. She did a fantastic job. We were operating under a very tight timeline. She fit us in although she had several other sales at the same time. Her staff was helpful, efficient, and thorough. The sale was very successful and our home was left in perfect condition for the new owners. She performed all services satisfactorily as stated in our agreement. We found her to be personable, easy to work with, and positive. We would certainly use her again. Thank you Kellie!

Bad service bad quality

Horrible service! Terrible communication by the owner of the business. I was told it was a staffing issue due to covid….doesn’t every business have staffing issues and why is that my problem as a patron? Use to love to come and shop for designer items and haven’t been in for some time. When I came in I was told designer items were listed on the floor (no big deal) accept I found the designer items were Lula Roe!

I'm not sure what's happened during transitional moves but the quality has dropped, clothing is not that great, (cheap goods, pilled, out dated) prices a bit high. Seen items at estate sales show up here with generous mark up. Employees are gone that were most helpful and friendly. My accounts did not balanced to reflect all I cosigned. I had to take serious action when my antique pieces were not credited to my account. The outcome was not positive. Not returning my investments will make me not return or recommend.

I stop at Kellie's a couple times a month to take consignments clothing in or to shop. I have found many bargains on clothing, home goods, and art. That being said, many of the items I bring in are sold inexpensively so don't be surprised if your Kellie's consignment check is smaller than you hoped. If you are very concerned about getting a certain price for an item, i suggest e-bay or even Facebook marketplace. I personally keep around 100 auctions/month going on e-bay. However, Kellie's is VERY convenient to bring items because you are DONE storing them and do not need to ship. I recommend shopping there, bringing items in (let it go!!!!), and think Kellie has done a great job with her business.

That's what it seemed like to me. If you like to sift through tons of clothes, this place is for you. Even the Salvation Army groups clothing by color and size, this is just a free for all. I will say, I noticed many vintage items, fur coats and old retro men shirts. Not coming back.

Fantastic Collection of Clothing, Furniture and Home Accessories

Kellie's has an incredible collection of clothing for men and women. My wife has dementia, so I have to buy clothing for her. Kellie's has every possible size and every style from the most casual outfits to formal wear as well as shoes, handbags, jewelry and other accessories. The same is true of the men's clothing. I have purchased a classic Burberry raincoat at Kellie's in like-new condition for less than 10% of the retail price elsewhere. They carry top men's brands you cannot buy new anywhere in Lansing. For example, I have found men's dress shows by Cole Haan, To Boot, Allen Edmonds and Peter Millar. I have also found a number of solid wood vintage furniture items by Drexel, Hitchcock, Hooker, Kincaid and Baker. As someone who has shopped in consignment stores in resort towns all along the East Coast, Kellie's is a destination store.

Designer Bargains!

Always look forward to visiting this shop ehenever I visit this area. Although prices are reasonable, there are even bargain racks. Nice helpful staff also.

Amazing selection of quality merchandize

I continue to be amazed by the quantity and quality of what Kellie's has to offer. As a consignor, I got frustrated with her pickiness and how much harder it was getting to make any money, but as a buyer, I enjoy shopping through the wide variety. Prices are a bit high but they are proportionate to the brand names and quality of what she is selling. I like how she has the store organized. Staff is friendly and helps you navigate.

If you consign here, be sure and take pictures of what you take in and request an itemized listing. Even with this, you have no way of knowing what price they put on your items to sell. I took in some very high end dress clothes, but unfortunately I did not request a listing of what I took in and have no way of knowing what sold but my total for what was sold was ridiculous. If I would have donated my items at least I would know someone who needed them would get them, and I could have a tax deduction.

I will never, ever, consign or shop in this store again!

Kellie's Consignments has moved to 5000 Marsh Road and is located behind Wheat Jewelers. Not only is clothing for sale, but furniture, glassware and jewelery. All nicely displayed and priced.
