Nick and Courtney are fabulous and extremely capable guides who led our trip on Little Traverse Bay. Through their expert understanding of Stand Up Paddle Boards (SUP) they led us safely and calmly through our experience. It is incredibly rewarding and gratifying to experience the water with a SUP. You feel as though you're walking on water, and have a view not only of the shoreline, but of the bay floor itself. If you haven't been to Sutton's Bay or Traverse City, I can't recommend it enough. Even if you have, consider experiencing it another way with Nick and Courtney as your expert guides. It was a true delight to go on a mini-adventure with them!

Took a short trip out with Level 40 Adventures at the end of their season. The the instruction very clear and the weather was great, so the trip was excellent! This was our first time on paddleboards so instruction included all the basics the boards, how to safely fall if you feel you're going to, and a few demonstrations on fun things you can do when you're comfortable. It's very clear both Courtney and Nick have plenty of experience with not only stand-up paddleboarding, but teaching others how to do, and it made our trip thoroughly enjoyable to have guides so into it. Make sure to dress to get wet, use waterproof sunscreen, and bring sunglasses you aren't afraid to lose (we lost a pair on a fall, oops!). Can't wait to go again next year and be prepared to paddle longer!

My children (teenagers) and I took a standup paddleboard lesson from Nick and absolutely loved it! Nick was wonderful! He explained things very well, and quickly, so that we were able to get on the water and try it out. He was encouraging and helpful and was able to offer directions and explanations that made sense to each of us and took in our different fitness levels. I would highly recommend a lesson with him and if you are looking for board rentals, I would go with him as well. His boards are much better than other options for rentals in the area. My kids had a great time and can't wait to go again!
