Very cool place to either get coffee, subway, or snacks. Holy Molly! Their snack selection is amazing and worth the trip. Nuts, sweets, spicy, sugar full or sugarfree.

This is a great place to make a road trip stop between Reno and Las Vegas. Although on the pricey side, they have just about every type of candy available with an emphasis on those that remind me of days of long ago. When my mother was alive, I would pick up some Swedish Fish (which reminded me of her) and a package of large snow caps (nonpareils, which were her father's favorite) to bring to her. On a recent roadtrip, we stopped here again. This time I was in search of pecan log rolls because they could not be found anywhere else on our gas stops. I remembered my mother picking them up on long road trips when I was little but I think they are just a Stuckey's thing. So I asked an older man behind the counter if they even had them here. He told me exactly where to look. There were two pecan log rolls in a bag so I took them back to the man to purchase them. He clearly approved of my choice! He told me to keep them in the refrigerator and take one out for a slice when I wanted some. While the pecan log from here is not the same as the Stuckey's one, which has a nougat center, the one I ended up with is still delicious with a rich caramel center. It reminds me of having a slice of pecan pie, which happened to be my mom's favorite.

We are visiting Death Valley, and stocked up on snacks here both going and coming on our road trip. Reasonable prices.
Admittedly, we got some of my husband's favorite Kookaburra licorice bites. However, we also love the assortment of dried fruits and nuts, vegetable chips, etc.
Whatever your snacking pleasure than can come in a package, stop in here!

I heard about this place but this was our first time driving through Beatty. It is hard to believe this is one of the largest candy stores in America until you walk in.
There are several long rows of all different types of candy and miscellaneous other items including cold drinks and beer. There is also a Subway restaurant inside, a counter that sells jerky and a counter selling ice cream.
We walked up and down the aisles and picked a few sweet items for the remainder of our road trip.
This is the place to stop if you have a sweet tooth - highly recommend!

We found this place over Thanksgiving weekend. We were camping in Death Valley and wanted to get reasonable priced gasoline, so drove into Beatty after stopping at Rhylote Ghost Town. We saw this place and stopped. We absolutely loved the homemade ice cream! It was amazing. Loved the coffee flavor. We also had sandwiches from Subway. Plus, we bought some souvenirs. Nice place! The staff were nice and helpful too!

This is a nice stop on your way to Rhyolite or Death Valley. Store was fully stocked with hundreds of options for packaged candy, fudge, and bags of nuts/snacks. Some candies are the old fashioned kind from way back in the day and that are hard to find anymore. Also there is an ice cream and sandwich place inside. Restrooms are clean.

Death Valley nut and candy has more than just shelves full of candy to choose from, most of which is packaged just for them. Also included inside is a Subway sandwich shop and an ice cream counter. You can also fill up your gas tanks when you stop to fill up your stomachs. When in Beatty make sure you stop at Death Valley Nut and Candy.

A true candy store with all the classics plus a couple variations that make it unique. I particularly appreciated their bags are re-sealable, making it easy for road trips. Well worth the stop if driving to/from Death Valley NP.

We stopped here during a trip to Death Valley. Soooo many candy choices and it’s one of the largest candy stores we’ve ever been to! We got some ice cream (really yummy!) We ended up buying some cute gummy candies to take home to our grandkids (they loved them!) We bought some dark chocolate covered almonds and they were absolutely delicious!!! Best we’ve ever had. The chocolate was excellent. We went back again and bought more before we left town. Too bad they don’t sell online (we checked after we got home!) We definitely recommend stopping here if you’re passing through the little town of Beatty. Don’t miss it!

Is there a way to order the sugar-free candy online? The caramel pecan clusters are wonderful and I'd like to get more, but I live in Reno, NV and don't drive south that often.
