Went to the restaurant part and ordered the Awesome chicken sandwich and fries. The chicken was dry the fries were eh. The waitress seemed like she didn't want to be at work. Told her about the chicken and all she could say is that she would tell them. We spent close to $50.00 for a chicken sandwich that was dry and 12 oz. Prime rib meal. Wouldn't order the sandwich again.

Just got back from our first official long distance road trip with our Class A motorhome.We decided to head south from Boise past Las Vegas via Salt Lake City and St. George, Utah to Lakeside Casino and RV resort in beautiful Pahrump, Nevada. We really weren't sure what to expect since google maps showed this destination was a few miles outside of a town that appeared to be in the middle of nowhere! We were pleasantly surprised. First - it's a little less than an hour from Las Vegas. We were expecting to spend most of our days inside the coach with both air conditioners going considering we would be in the desert - but the weather was very pleasant - mid to upper 70's during the day and a cool 45 degrees at night. We aren't much for gambling, but we walked the short distance from the RV park to the casino to buy a couple meals from the casino cafe. What a treat! It's a small restaurant but the food was delicious and very affordable. Lakeside RV Resort is like a mirage of an oasis in the desert. Our first surprise: there were as many palm trees in the park as evergreens - and there was an abundance of both providing wonderful shade all day long. The central feature of this wonderful little RV park is a lake that provides catch and release fishing, paddle boats, a waterfall feature and a variety of ducks and birds. We were backed in right in front of the tropical themed beach complete with thatched roof pagodas and multiple fire pits. Next to the beach was a traditional and well-kept pool area with a large community fire pit. Across the street we had access to spotless restrooms, shower facilities and a laundry. The grounds are meticulously maintained by a large, constantly busy crew and the front office staff folks are very friendly and accommodating. This was a 14 plus hour drive from Boise. We went at the invitation of my sister-in-law and her husband. They go to Lakeside a number of times a year and I must confess - it was more than worth it. The RV spots are large and well maintained and the staff and crew make you feel welcomed and valued. Lakeside Casino and RV Resort is 5 stars in our book and we look forward to our next visit.

This place could be great. I won’t be back. The food was ok, service ok too. We came for the buffet, other terrible’s has theirs open. When we asked when the buffet would be open we were told it is being ripped out. We will never be back.

again the slot machines were tight but I enjoyed the ambiance & the staff was friendly & helpful,nice place

My family and I stayed here over the Christmas holiday. While here, my wife ran out of her medication. I had some shipped by overnight mail only to find out that the office here doesn't accept postal packages. Unbelievable! Is it really that difficult for the office to accept packages for long term tenants? Secondly, we left our RV for a few days to visit family when we received an urgent call from our neighbor at the park saying that Autumn (supposedly) told him that empty RVs were going to be towed (even those that had paid in full). We were panicked. After a few frantic calls to the front office I was finally able to get a hold of someone who said that wasn't true. My neighbor stands by what he said. Either way, management needs to get their act together. The RV park is very nice otherwise. The casino is VERY smokey.

One night but extended for two more. Great sites! Level heaven. Had the fried chicken fry and it was so tasty. Wanted to order the next night. Unable too. Problem was the smoke inside the intimate casino. Clothes, hair, all reeked of the smokers exhales. Took a shower before hitting the sheets. And Imam an ex-smoker with high tolerance. Will stay there again. Be nice if they delivered food to your site.

There are 4 casinos in town. Saddle west, Gold told, Pahrump Nugget, and Lakeside.
The last 3 are owned by golden casinos. Lakeside is a small casino. It is 3rd best in town. Only advantage is that it is near campground and brothels. Only slot games. If gambling is really your big thing go to Pahrump nugget.
Pahrump nugget is the best casino in town and the only one with live table games including $1 craps.
Lakeside is owned by Golden, which also owns Aquarius, Colorado Belle, and Edgewater in Laughlin as well as Arizona Charlie and PT in Las Vegas. So your rewards transfers over.

We stayed for three nights for our inaugural RVing trip. The staff was very friendly, letting us pick our spot; one that was easy to back in a travel trailer. It is a very quite park with lots of trees and a beautiful little lake. Quite unexpected in the middle of the desert. The park is very well maintained with great WI-Fi, clean restrooms and attentive security. The park is a bit out of town so the on site casino with a convenience store/gas station and cafe are nice to have nearby. We are returning in August.

Ate Dinner her a few weeks ago on the Weekend. BAD experience. service was off and so was the food. Customers were complaining right and left. Extremely long wait time to revive food and it was not even editable.
This is not the norm for this Resturant. Usually very good and super service. This was the C team.

Recently stayed overnight and was delighted with the entire resort! Dining was excellent in the cafe (open 24 hours). The spaces are large and very easy in and out with 50 amp power,. WiFi, cable TV water and sewer. Staff was excellent in every aspect from check-in to dining. Awesome value as well as we stay in resorts twice as expensive with much less to offer!

I read a lot of reviews about the area that indicate there are lots of large spiders and roaches after the sun goes down, is this the case at Lakeside?

The whole area is roached out in my opinion,I will never go to Pahrump again.
