Very nice zoo, been here before. Entry fee is cash donation. Lots of animals, great place for children. I definitely would recommend.

This is an awesome zoo to visit!!! Very well laid out, super clean, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Super family friendly. Admission is free, but they request a donation that we were happy to give. A couple of places to grab a snack and drink, bathrooms available. We purchased the animal encounter where we got to feed a giraffe and LOVED IT!!! We had the pleasure of feeding sassafras branches to Beau while learning about giraffe. Great visit!!

The zoo is a great place to spend a few hours. It is well kept and has a wide variety of exhibits. Informational signs on the animals were very interesting.

The Zoo and parking were free! Beautiful zoo with so many different animals. Toucans, Zebras, bobcats, giraffes and so much more. The staff were very friendly.

The Cape MayCounty Zoo continues to be a gem at the Jersey shore. Too many folks still do not appreciate the size of the zoo, the wide assortment of animals and the beauty of the grounds. I will never understand why they have free admission for this quality attraction. I would hope every family makes a donation at the many donation cans throughout the grounds. Seeing the Snow Leopards frolic with each other was a highlight of this last trip.

We visited at the end of July on a very warm day, yet with all the tree covering and other shade spots, the visit was very comfortable. The zoo was very clean and employees were friendly and knowledgeable. This zoo doesn’t charge admission (they do take donations) which is amazing since it rivals many of the other zoos that I have visited that charge an admission. My husband and I really enjoyed the Cape May Zoo!!!

We went to the zoo and had a lovely day we met up with some more friends and spent most of the day there. It’s the first time I have tasted Funnel cake it’s very tasty. Lots of lovely well cared for animals there . Had brilliant day .

A wonderful, small zoo that offers both free parking and admission. They have a nice variety of animals to see and even offer encounters; although we arrived too late for one. Lots of shaded areas and benches throughout. Would definitely recommend adding to your to-do list when you’re in the area. Also a nice playground right outside the zoo.

For a free entry zoo this place was great. It compares to other popular zoos that charge admission. There are a lot of animals
And the grounds are maintained extremely well. There is a lot of shade so even on a hot day you can take a break and cool off. Highly recommend visiting here and do not forget to make a donation.

The Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
The animals and there is a lot of them, are maintained. Clean. Fed. Seem to be happy overall. The grounds are kept up. No over brush. Walkways are immaculate. Easy to be self-guided through. Not a lots of food choices to stop and eat from, it looks like to me, you can bring in a picnic or at least go outside the zoo and sit at one of the many pavilions and eat. Also if the zoo isn't enough for you and the kiddos. They have the most amazing playground right outside the zoo,
Looking forward to coming back over and over again.

No pets allowed in the zoo area. They have a pet area outside the zoo for pets.
Hi, is it worth it to go in colder weather?

Definitely!! There are many animals that are more active in the colder months than the Summer, i.e. the Snow Leopards with their heavy beautiful coats. Some find it more enjoyable when its less crowded also. Thanks for your support!

No, you cannot drive through the zoo. There are walking paths only.
