Hotel and the beach were amazing, we went for a little family getaway the last week of September, it was great 😊 ☀️🌅 Breakfast at the Hotel restaurant was delicious

Plenty to do, great places to eat, plenty of room to spread out on the beach, the famous boardwalk, and Morey's Piers. Just all around a good place to go. We go several times a year.

The beach is very clean, and if you have 4-wheel drive, you can park on Baker Street for $10. Well worth it. You can park there and walk to the boardwalk too.

Very good and super clean beach. Love the boardwalk and all the activities near by. Super good for young kids and adults.

The beaches are clean and FREE. The only problem is people like to sit right on top of you even though the beach is large. And the other problem is some people like to play music loud.

The beach was so clean. We spent the day just laying there under the sun. No one bothering us. It was such a beautiful day. Close to our hotel.

The beach is fantastic! It is very clean and well taken care of. Plenty of room for everyone. Lifeguards keep a great eye on everything. A long walk from the boardwalk to the beach so make sure you have something on your feet because the sand can be very hot.

We spent one morning on the beach and found it very clean but because it's Wildwood, it's a long walk to get to the water's edge. We rented a cart from our motel and you can also rent lockers if you don't want to haul your stuff back and forth for multiple days.

July 14, 2022 the ocean smelled like a sewer and should have been closed to the public for swimming. A substandard experience for what used to be a superior beach. Reports earlier in July acknowledged a problem with Cape May dumping raw sewage to the ocean and washing down the coast. Seems like it happened again but health authorities failed to do their job.

Hi! My birthday is coming up (September 26) and we're planning on doing a day trip with the dogs to Wildwood. How's the beach crowd/boardwalk at the end of September, and are dogs allowed on both? The website says dogs are allowed from October to May, but the Dog Beach is open year round, so I'm just confused. Basically I just want to know if dogs will be allowed on the beach and boardwalk in late September.

There’s a specific section of the beach that is fenced in and looks like a big playground on the beach. That’s the dog beach and is open for you and your dog to use year round. As I understand it, the rest of the beach is for people only until after September. Hope you have a great birthday and enjoy Wildwood if you decide to go.
Is their a shuttle on the beech to help get to the water?

Why would there be SO FEW RESTROOMS on boardwalk and NO porta potties...heaven help anyone with a bowel disease or kids..this is REDICULOUS. SHAME ON THE CITY!! ITS NOT OK! We wait and save all yr for our family trip and this has caused a real problem

We have visited Wildwood a number of times and a few times were lucky enough to stay near the block of beaches where there's a long wooden path down across 2/3 of the sand. Can anyone tell me what block #'s those are?

Hildreth ave., 5300 blk. It is next to the last street at the south end of the boardwalk.
My family always vacationed at Wildwood when I was growing up. I’d love to take my son there, but I haven’t been there in over 25 years and I’m worried I’ll be disappointed. I’m asking for honest opinions- is it nice or should we vacation elsewhere?

Been going for over 50 yrs with extended family. Great family beach vacation. Safe well protected brach. Good rides and Boeardwalk food. Good club zone in North Wildwood.plenty of good restaurants.weather is usually good beach weather there.

Is Wildwood Crest going to start charging for beach access?
We've been going there for half century and it was always free. It'd be a shame for the powers-that-be (or politicians) to start charging beach fees now.

It’s still free - we were there last weekend. There is nothing to suggest that they will start charging. However our uber driver was telling us that the boardwalk needs serious renovations so in the future they might need too. Apparently it’s the only free beach left in NJ.
